Quick new video idea

Last month a free mod for Doom II called Thatcher's Techbase came out, which involves Margaret Thatcher coming back to life with your goal being to kill her... So naturally I played it. While playing it I realized I could easily use it as a jumping off point for a discussion of topics like neoliberalism and atomization, so that's what I'm planning to make a video on next.

Today and yesterday I had 6-hour long recording sessions for my audiobook, and after today's session I finally finished editing my Berserk video, which is being exported now. As soon as it's exported, I'll upload it to YouTube, so we're very close!

Update on Berserk video

The script for my upcoming video on Berserk is fully written. It's almost twice as long as my Heidegger & Miyazaki script, so the video will probably be over an hour long – pretty fair after such a long absence.

I'm currently in the process of recording the audio, which is taking a while. I got a new mixer this week so my audio quality is now better than ever, but there's a lot of mouth sounds getting picked up which are driving me crazy. If anyone has any advice for getting rid ...

Hi again! I'm sorry about the long absences, I decided I should be more open about this: writing a book has been a really task, more stressful than I had imagined. I got really burnt out and it led to a period of depression and severe lack of motivation, which is why I've been absent a lot - avoidance is my main coping mechanism. After a needed break from the internet in general I feel much better. Hopefully I can get my next video done soon - seeing how people respond to my videos is definit...

Firstly, the last poll made it clear that my next video will be on The Simpsons. Unfortunately, I won't be able to work on this video until October. My recording microphone breaking is one reason why but not the main one. The main reason is that I have to finish writing BOTH my book for Repeater Books AND my thesis for university by the end of September.
