THE CRUEL REALITY! From the Republic's standpoint, it does make sense to pursue that course of action, even if I don't personally agree, as anyone manages to survive all 5 years of military service & countless battlefields would most definitely be a significant threat to the security of the country... no way they'd continue to accept the discrimination after everything they've been through, they'd fight back & seek revenge (rightfully so). THE HYPE'S UNREAL, LET'S GO!! Seriously, it made me lose my train of thought several times during the post-reaction discussion, which made it a whole struggle to articulate my thoughts well enough... but that's exactly what I signed up for with this journey thru Symphogear!

Maybe it's that "shounen" side of myself speaking, but something about seeing characters do combination attacks just makes me so absurdly excited... plus the S2CA Triburst was so well animated, I loved the coloration...

HAPPINESS NEVER LASTS! So much went down & all I can feel is depression... I might have called the show's format for these events, but that doesn't make me feel better about what transpired. Shit, all I can really do is just hold out the faintest hope that we won't lose anyone else for awhile... but at the same time, that makes me fearful of the eventual loss as I grow closer with everyone in that time frame.

DECLARATION OF WAR! I might prefer S1's premiere, if we're just talking about crazy pacing & an absolutely bonkers cliffhanger, but it still feels so good to back with this show, especially seeing how much feels improved upon in comparison! I'd say, however, that cold open segment, the Noise's new designs, the action sequences, and even that concert are much more notably entertaining this time around... THE VOICES OF THE DEAD?! So, admittedly, it gave me anxiety & even successfully managed to jumpscare me... the audio mixing for those scenes was so damn good, deserves praise, alongside the attention to detail for lighting, cinematography, and animation. I'd say, this whole "psychological warfare" aspect, plus the fact it's the solution to a prevalent issue, one I've talked about before, is easily my favorite development so far!

THE HYPE'S UNREAL! I'd say, after what's happened, it's time to crown Delta as the series "Best Girl," cause her capacity for sheer violence & the carnage she brought about from running wild was... incredible, a true sight to behold! Of course, it certainly does help that VA's performance was spectacular, her personality's entertaining, and she's also very attractive, which the animators knew how to spotlight well with their (solid) camera angles!

SALVATION! ENDING THE CYCLE OF VIOLENCE! Other than the missteps with Manami & Nerula, this series was definitely well worth watching, as I do believe it managed to end satisfyingly enough.
