I think I'm over my burnout, but I'm still working on something today that I should have finished on Monday. So I'm working on the last poll. I think it's part of why I had my burnout this week. I've been setting up way too many comics. Comics really stress me out. I love making them, but they can just take so fucking long. This is one of those times when my Photoshop crashed while I was saving, and I ended up losing almost the full two hours of work. It's only two hours, but I hate having to do something twice, so I put finishing it off until now.

Abandoned Project

So I didn't even manage to finish all of my duke sketches this month, let alone even two pages of this comic. I always knew that I'd never have time for it, and I still never will. Two and a half pages a month is NOT a good use of my time. This is all time that could have gone to something like more Mark comics, or Kee-Va comics, or anything. It just kills me, so I set that picture aside and I'll try again in a week or so. I takes that long for the memory to wear off. Duke Sketch: Jess Black

WIP: Mark's Cultural Appropriation

A duke wanted thier sketch to be of Princess Cadence dressed up in barbarian clothes, as if she were from Mark's clan. I like the idea so much that I want to expand it into a full comic . . . And I will . . . But probably not till next week . . . I've got another Mark thing to finish first.

Trend-Bait

This bit of trendbait is proving a bit more time consuming than I should have allowed, but I'm into it. I like the whole Mario aesthetic a lot. The comfortably cartooishness of it almost makes you forget how weird it is that an Italian plumber needs to save a pornstar princess from a giant ape or dragon or whatever.

I have no idea where this sketch is going, but I think it looks okay so far. I'm actually impressed I got most of this out of my head, but I also dawdled with it for a lot longer than I should have.
