Daily Sketch: Dark Elves Rule

I'm forcing myself to take a week-long break from Total War, since I played it for maybe 20 hours over just two days. Gross. Unhealthy behavior. Sad.

Daily Sketch: Futa Briar

I didn't make it to the coloring because this sketch just took too long. I always set a time for myself with these sketches and for some reason working on this one just went really slowly. Futas not my thing, maybe that had something to do with it.

I'm not personally into futa, I find it very immersion-breaking, but it is popular, and sometimes a radio station has to play the hits to keep the lights on. So, just for fun, let's do a futa-witch. Black might be my least favorite color in Magic: The Gathering. I mention that because MTG's color wheel of magic really does inform how I stylish characters. Dwarves

I love drawing dwarves! Not only are they my favorite fantasy race, they're super fun and easy to draw for whatever reason. I think my brain likes squishing things down into compact shapes. I don't like things that are long and spindly. I like round, stout shapes. These were all for a Prince, but I think you can expect more dwarves from me. New idea! Instead of doing a poll everyday, I'm going to try have a poll for a broad concept, which I'll do multiple sketches of over those next few days. This is not a permanent thing, I just want to try it out. 

So, it's October, and Halloween is coming up, so vote on a theme, and I'll do a few sketches based on it. There will inevitably some overlap, like I'll sketch a witch with a pumpkin, or a sexy ghost trying to eat candy, but the winning theme will be predominant.

I kind of have no idea why I've spent so much time on this. Unlike Starscout Dizzy, I have NO ideas for funny comics involving this character. All of my jokes and ideas are entirely dependent on a Mark or Dizzy type character, not whatever this dwarf-princess is, but I don't know . . . You might look at this and wonder, "What is this?" This is just a little random thing I drew for myself. I really, really, like dwarves. Normally I post these around the 5th of each month, but for some reason August was super light on content, and so I kept looking for stuff to add to it. I realize I was just sort of holding it off. September's Cache will be bigger. 

ALSO, I am seriously considering cataloguing all of my work and putting it into google drive, which some artists do, but I'm a little intimidated by the scope of that task.

Well, it's not really a secret since I've already announced I was making this for October. I'm being really careful with my expectations for this project. It could end on the third page and be a complete story, I could extend it a little into five or seven pages. We'll see.
