So I found out this week i have to go to California for some family stuff. Kind of last minute, but not an emergency or tragedy. Just stuff. I'm going to be gone for six days which is an ETERNITY in the freelance smut business since I really need to work everyday keep up. Don't worry Archdukes and Princes, everything you asked for this month should still be on time (unless I've told you otherwise) but you aren't going to see anything for the next week regardless.

Cat family

So I tried coloring a rendered image again and I don't know. I really really like making a BW image because it allows me to really balance that values exactly how I want, and its so easy for me to see how it would look in color, but when it comes to coloring it I don't know what to do. It either comes out looking very samey or the colors seem muddy and bla bla. I really do want to keep trying though, because I know this is how 'professionals do it.

The End! Thanks guys that was fun. I know a lot of people were hoping for a threeway with the mother, but I was always going to limit this comic to five pages. I really like this CYOA thing and I am already considering another. Maybe another one with Mark, but I also kind of like the idea of a generic sexy school girl coming home to find her mother having sex with _______ (Black guy, her son, another woman, a furry) that kind of thing.

I'm actually super happy with the way Key came out, which presents its own frustrations. How did I do this one exactly? What makes it different from the others? Is it because I drank a protein shake instead of coffee today?

I think I'll hold back on posting this to HF until I've posting all the pages of the Mark comic.  

Mark in the Woods 4

So for the longest time B and C from last the last installment were tied, and I was just waiting for someone to break the tie. It was a C vote, and although I think they've become more or less tied again, I went with C. 

Thanks for making this project fun for me this month. Due to the fact that I really wanted to contain this just for September, and I have a lot of other stuff to do, the next part will be the last part, so vote carefully.

Kinda wish I had gone with a different name for this comic since he's not really in the woods anymore. Anyways, at the time I counted option B was ahead by just one vote. VERY CLOSE! Let's go again. And just so we're clear, only option B here is strictly bisexual. Option C will be MMF threeway, but no gay stuff. 

Kameo's Revenge

So I've never played Elements of Power, but I did read the wiki! I guess Kameo has a magic book that has spirits trapped in it she can transform into, and her sister Kalus is super jealous about it, so they fight, and bad things happen. Here I have Kameo sealing her sister away in the book. I think it came out pretty good, especially the lighting on Kalus, which is something I normally struggle with a bit. 

Cadence

This took waaaayyy too long. I did not manage my time Well. See the three little characters at the bottom . . . that took as long as the rest of the piece. I probably spent way to much time on details in them that don't even show, but I figure I can use the art for my custom magic cards. I really want to spend a bit more effort on Cadence and Briar though . . . because boobs, I guess.

I had hoped to have had this finished by last night, but i was wiped after helping my friend paint his house and didn't draw diddle. I'm a little embarrassed about how long it took me to finish this one. I was about half-way done when i suffered a crash, and was so discouraged by the 2+ hours of work I lost that I basically abandoned it for a month. I just finished it recently, and I think you can tell in the different panels what I did a month ago and what I did yesterday. 

Also, this should be the last pic I post before getting the Cache out. I'm getting it together right now.

Part 3

Well that's part 3 and that's the end. I know lots of people will have wanted to see them go up against Mark as well, but that story might be too long for me to do as a comic. I like what I've been setting up though, that all the characters in my world tend to move in sets of two. Mark and Cadence, Key and Briar, and now Rastaba and Nell. I am very happy with the way this is turning out. Not only does it look better than my usual work, making it feels better to. The technique I stared with the Bel and Briar comic is really coming into fruition now. I don't think I've ever seen Rastaba look better. 

I'm got one more page to finish, and I really need to get it done before the 23rd, because I'm going out of a town for about a week. Sorry, but a couple people who have things due this month might not see it till earl...

Another Update

I am extremely satisfied with the way this new technique is working out. For so long I've been satisfied with flawed lineart because I figured I could fix anything during coloring, but this just looks so good that It inspires me to keep going. This is using the same method as the last page, but I spent twice as long cleaning it up so I won't have to spend as much time reshading the lineart to match the colors. Who knows, I could still screw it up, but frankly I'm almost happy enough with this th...

Yeessssss. I think I'm getting it. I was really worried that I was going to get some crappy results like the last couple times I've tried this technique, but this came along so much better than I was expecting. The colors actually look like the colors I imagined, and I don't think I've ever drawn mark better. It's not perfect. Alright. It looks pretty good right now, but I've been here before. Coloring this kind of shit isn't easy for me, and I might end up with a muddy travesty, but it's worth another try. I really want to figure out the coloring by overlay thing. Wish me luck. Next time you see this, for better or worse, it'll be in color.
