Kobold Princess

This was probably the toughest princess to draw yet. I have drawn a couple Argonians recently, and even though I've been technically happy with the way everything has come out, I still can't get over the fact that I'm drawing a sexualized lizard person. Nell

Well, it's been brewing for a couple weeks, but here's the full character sheet for Nell. It didn't take me as long as the Tamora character sheet, but it still was a pretty good investment of time. I've got more coming out later this month (and into next month) that will be updates of Mark and the crew.

A progression of styles

So the first panel was done in the new style I've been trying out. I render everything as a black and white image, and doing all of the details through value. It's really fun to do, and I really think it looks cool, but adding colors to colorless render isn't as simply as pressing a button. I have to use various layers of overlay and multiply to get the colors I want, none of which really corelate directly to what they look like when I sample them, so each time is guesswork. Absinthe comic

I'm super fucking happy with the way Absinthe came out, but I am less happy with the comic. Coloring larger scenes and comics is just tricky for me, and I never really get across the effect I want. In some ways it is too dark and de-saturated, but I can't imagine doing antthing differently.

Tamora, Empress of Cytheria

Well this one has taken me quite a while. i think I started it almost two weeks ago and have been working on it little by little. I'm very lucky that my current Fool has been asking for things that relate to my own characters, because I probably wouldn't have had the time/energy/motivation to do this otherwise, but I think it's great that Tamora gets an update. Now I just need to get her into a comic again.

Tamora, a Work in Progress

This is not done yet, I still have one more Tamora to draw. Basically the idea behind this is I'm making a visual timeline of Tamora's life (she's Cadence's mother if ya'll don't remember, and an evil queen to boot). The Lusty Argonian Maid

I'm getting more comfortable with drawing Furry it seems, and despite my revulsion of Argonians I seem to be able to draw them the most competently. Why? Is it that my disgust stimulates a greater degree of focus, or is God playing a trick on me?

Anyway, I'm pretty happy with this one, and I think I accomplished the effect I wanted of making it look like the cover of one of those old erotic novels they made in the 50s and 60s that you sometimes find in used bookstores. 

Seliora

A character for my newest Patron. I don't actually know anything about Seliora other than a couple images I've seen. Is she a satyr, a deer-furry? A deer-furry with a green tongue though? Anyway, I'm happy with the way it came out.

Dark Krow, Sith Slaver

This one's been on the burner since last month. I wasted an entire day coloring this one while watching a tutorial on youtube, trying to learn a more efficient and balanced method, but I failed miserably and started over. Drawing this one really got my Star Wars itch to come back, and I ended up reading articles on Wookiepedia for most of the day. I really hope the JJ Abrams movie is good. I'm sure it will be. I think Disney's putting more money into it than any of there other properties.
