Gen Con Chandra Painting

I love sitting for these painting sessions. Its simultaneously really fun while also being the hardest thing I feel like I've EVER DONE. Because I have to stand still... Home Safe from Gen Con!

It was a weird weekend, but a good one. Definitely different from all the year's that have come before but that was both expected and understandable. Might have been more unnerving it WAS closer to a normal Gen Con year.

I'm coming up on a travel break and I'm pretty grateful for it. It'll be nice to clean up the mess I made of my workshop bashing out all these costumes and since I'm going to isolate myself until I can get my COVID test results post-big event we'll try to find some more...

FAB Vegas and Gen Con Updates

I've been hitting the workshop hard! I'm currently a-go for both Flesh and Blood: The Calling in Vegas (September 11&12th) and Gen Con the weekend after (September 16th-19th). Vaxxed and masked!

I'll be Dash for the Flesh and Blood event, and there will be plenty of pictures with two other cosplayers that you... y'know... might be familiar with. I'm not entirely sure what my full cosplay docket is going to look like for Gen Con. I'll bring Harrowhawk for sure since that look nicely...

Ninth House goes to the Faire

Huge kudos to my friend Amanda for letting me dress her up <3 (and also, obviously, for taking every dumb meme picture I needed in my life). She was pretty stoked at how many people were excited to see Gideon and Harrow at the faire too.

This costume is SUPER comfty and the make up isn't all that hard to do so I'm sure I'll be wearing this again. Probably with the sword. Vicky also got some pictures of us and I'll make sure to post those when she has them processed!

Project Updates!

Two WIPs (although the second one is MOSTLY finished but for final touch-ups). Making Dash from Flesh and Blood for the Vegas event and it's coming along nicely IMO. Still have a lot of finishing to do, details to add and so much has to be painted but it was nice to have everything on to see the progress. And I have a proper wig en route.

I also threw together a cosplay for the renaissance faire (even though the books take place in future space whatever, fight me). I still have to prop...

Cosplay Gauntlet Weekend

I'm ecstatic: Chase had this rad backdrop and it has no right looking this good (plus we were just chillaxing at Chase's condo so I got beer and snacks during the photoshoot :3) And of course we got to play around with the spear since Chase has been having a lot of fun with his 3D printer.

Whew! Fantastic weekend and also I am SO TIRED. We shot Nier, Eva and KDA all in one day. Its something like 500+ new pictures. I'll try to remember to run some out each day here on the Patreon feed and I'm already updating the Flickr galleries for you Rampaging Feroci-friends.

With a friend's help I organized... A lot of my magic cards, sold a bunch of stuff I had sitting around and found all those alters I did!
