I was just gonna do a couple of ponies because I wanted to play with color markers, but got caught up in it and ended up filling the whole page. It was surprisingly fun to draw them! most are studies but some I changed the poses beyond recognition. 

I should have probably traced them to a new paper before doing the lineart because I made a lot of sloppy mistakes - partly because of too much pencil on the paper.

Starvale - hockey practice

I also filmed this today. am I spamming now? I don't know the etiquette of Patreon. 

I never record videos or I might have been able to make this look less washed out/yellow, and add music or something. but it's a test!
I just wanted to try to convey the scene despite it being spread out weirdly on the page, and thought this was worth a shot.

If it's fun to look at stuff like this I might do it again (but better)

Starvale sketches

bonus post! I made some Starvale sketches today! I was supposed to work on it yesterday according to my project schedule, but I recently got a couple weeks of real work, so I've had to prioritize that. (I've got a buffer so I'll be able to post on Patreon even if I can't work on my projects)

I do want to edit these earlier pages so each episode gets a full page, but some episodes (like ep. 4) will make that a challange.

also, I bought a new phone a couple weeks ago and I don't like how the pictures come out! They're dark, right? are they too dark?

Starvale - Maisie!

I hope her character shines through in the design, because I don't think I can explain her in words.
She's inspired by a younger me, so I can't really pinpoint her as a character. Perhaps she'll grow into something easier to define later? or maybe not!

Zelda comic sketch pages (p3-11)

New Frontier - CAST

Hegarth is gentle and sympathetic, with a strong sense of justice and a ton of guilt. He takes care of Tommen like an older brother, and will sometimes tease him (but never provoke). Hegarth is pleasant with new people but almost impossible to get close to. He will put all focus on others to avoid talking about himself and his past. Hegarth likes to feel needed.
