It's nice knowing that even if something goes wrong, you'll be fine for as long as everything else is working. There's the wood stoves for heat and candles for light if electricity goes out, electric heaters for warmth if the stove goes out of order, and no matter what we've got food and if the well freezes shut, we've got snow all around.
