Hey guys- just a quick bit of news, I'm at MFF this weekend, dealing with my friends at the Katbox, tables C-22 to C-24! I won't be doing commissions, just selling some books, prints, dakis, as I'll have to work on sketches and other stuff on my iPad while I'm out. I'm not sure how much of the comic page for Predators or other HD stuff I'll be able to work on, but I can at least get the sketching parts done. It's just past dusk, and Bailey tells her to go on up and good luck, while she stays in the back and watches with the rest of the crowd, picking some flowers below(not drawn in yet). I went with more of a background emphasis than I thought I would, originally. The idea of palace gardens was enticing, and they'd be one of the few places she could go by herself. Kind of a 'sequel' image to the Loki x Ayn fighting request.. though not really anything canon of course, it was fun to do. I can't imagine a situation where they -would- stop fighting to fuck but.. hey. Not -everything- has to be a story-laden image. I just wanted to do some more hard stuff, sizeplay, lots of people wanted to see both Ayn and Loki (and others, yes I didn't forget!) so I had this kind of old sketch lying around and decided to clean it up some.

I noticed I was going too hard on the last few pages with the sheer volume of panels and frames, it was getting a bit claustrophobic. Gaz was an old character I made for Tailheat years back, and he was just a god-awful looking generic gator. A few years back I re-tooled him a bit more into the version that I think has more 'known' status, if at all, for him, but it still felt a bit uninspired. So I toyed with the idea of him more as a Black Caiman, an Amazonian warrior from the gator tribes down there, after looking at Caiman references and Amazon headdresses.
