While I didn't mean to make her wait, I am really happy with how it came out and feel like everyone's personalities shine through in this piece. The last couple of years have been both difficult and wonderful for my fam, kinda to intense extremes on both ends of that scale, so it means a lot to me to make something so loving and happy...

I came across it again yesterday while sorting through some files and decided to try and actually get it polished up to send her... this breadtangle of progress shots is kinda a mess, but having fun with this weird long creepy dude! 

To explain a little what all I included here: the two larger panels were shots that I felt had some cool atmosphere/ detail on the creepy dude, then the "1st pass/2nd pass" were my revisions to his appearance on a complete page to make him look more like what I imagined in my head. Was it necessary? Probably not! Am I much happier with the revised page? I sure am :D

Tried to make this drawing a bit more stylized/elongated than my usual fare as well as doing the inks without zooming in much past the point of having the entire canvas visible and I think it was a good exercise.

Twilight Princess is actually on my list of fave Zelda games overall and Midna has been my girl since I played the game back in the day. I love her energy with Link over the adventure and personally found her to be a huge upgrade over your previous companions...

It took me way too long to pick out this month's fanart suggestion but after much hemming and hawing, I decided it was a good time to finally do a bit of Hades drawing! I love that this composition ended up just pure bisexual chaos with its colour scheme and while I'm not sure if that fits Megaera, I decided to roll with it XD

I also tried to do a bit more of a graphic style inspired by the game art and keeping more dark blacks in the lineart instead of just doing colour holds ...
