Dark Souls 3 DLC ► The Story of Ariandel

It's here!

I believe Ashes of Ariandel has just been released worldwide (not just on xbox)..and I have a little companion video for your journey!

This tells the story of Ariandel in a sequential fashion - as if you were watching me play through the game. I'm happy with it, but I left out the most fascinating, complicated details in the interest of time.

Enjoy! I'll probably make it public tonight when everyone's had a chance to play through the DLC. AND MAKE SURE YOU PLAY THE DLC B...

Dark Souls 3 DLC ► PvP Arena Showcase & 2 New Weapons

I hope this is interesting to some of you folks - it's a taste of the PvP to come October 25th.

Just want to reiterate an apology about the lack of uploads this past few weeks - I did a podcast appearance on Bonfireside Chat which required a lot of research and threw me off a bit, plus I spent 2 weeks researching 2 important videos that turned out to be very difficult to turn into a video. I salvaged most of it though - and you'll see it in a video form eventually.

Dark Souls 3 Story ► The Duty of Anri & Horace

The first episode of Prepare to Cry for Dark Souls 3.

We're off to a good start! I'll be following the suggestions the Beacon patrons followed in the Strawpoll - it helps me know what you guys desire most. 

Also would you be interested in a patron-only discord channel? Might be nice having a little chatroom there. They recently introduced discord integration!

I'm quite happy with how this turned out..particularly the music! I think these tracks really capture the tone of what's going on in each scene. I'm also happy with the few times I could abruptly take the story in a different direction.

I may reupload to change a few things, but for now..this is for your eyes only!

Finally -.-

Got hit really hard by the flu when I was towards the end of editing this one, feelsbad. The next video will be on the Angels, and then the Firekeepers..and then that's most of the lore covered.

Of course, then Prepare to Cry starts! Anri & Horace are looking like great starts for that. Then hopefully we'll get hit with some DLC news, or news of From Soft's next game.

As a personal update - i'm finally settled in a new place, which has been an adventure. I really underestimated how long it takes to do all the paperwork, set up services, buy furniture & appliances..man. Glad that's over.

Thank you all for being so patient - this month i've been moving home, plus I had to deal with a few personal, time consuming things. It's also a 30 minute video, and i've been watching it upload over the last 2 days -.-

Update!

Hey all, just wanted to keep you all posted on what i'm currently working on, and give you a sneak peek at the art commissioned from John Devlin.

As the thumbnail says, it's going to be detailed lore on every single boss in Dark Souls 3. 

More than previous games I think the story revolves very strongly around these bosses, so they will be the.."jumping-off" point for my description of the narrative.

I'm currently about halfway through and really happy with how it'...

Dark Souls 3 ► Initiate all NPC Questlines

The goal here was to create a video that shows you how to get the ball rolling with your NPC's. After this, it should be much easier to find them in your late game.

Maybe try these tactics on a new character and see how it changes your  playthrough! Later on i'll make a video showing how to succeed / fuck up their questlines in the late-game.

Was any of this new to you? I seriously tried to find patches in the cathedral 6 times before figuring it out. I never open those door...

Dark Souls 3 ► 10 Early Game Secrets

Alright..upload shenanigans are over, it's finally done. Slight warning not to watch if you're still on your first playthrough! There's a late game boss you CAN fight in the early-game that you might not want spoiled.
