That’s the end of Dragon’s Justice. Honestly, this series has continued to be a high performer for me. The last two books saw a sharp decline, but those first three books did something very right and continue to pull in a lot of readers.

I’ve gone back and read them again and I look at my other series often trying to identify what that golden nugget is.

Phew!

That was a long book. But I quite liked how it turned out. This series isn’t designed to be a long winding road, but rather a short series. Fantasy trilogy has a nice ring to it, but I have the idea of where I want it to go and it could be anywhere from 3-5 books. While I know how my series will end, I don’t always have a concrete plan on how to get there.

I hope things are going well. This last book cycle has been a big one for me. Dungeon 102 was very fun. His grandparents and the relationships surrounding Ken were just amusing and bringing them forward this book was great fun.

Finding the dungeon itself to be a little repetitive, kind of like dungeons in video games. So the focus has been very much on his growth and both of his class and relationships.

Dungeon 102 Chapter 5

“Did you get it?” I snuck up on Charlotte, causing her to yelp and cover her mouth.

“Yes.” She calmed down and glared at me. “Bun-bun stole it right out from under their noses. Isn’t he great?” She rubbed the rabbit’s head while he looked at me, smug as hell.

Dungeon 102 Chapter 4

The forest turned out to be even better than I’d originally planned. Not only did it provide more hooks to hang alarm wires on, but the bushes and trees blocked the light from a small fire well we built.

Another party would have to almost be on top of us to see the dim light. But the light provided enough for our lookouts to be effective.

Though, we wouldn’t have any warning should one or more groups gather together outside the bushes. We would have to defend our flag like any...
