We're still working on the Lies episode (First Opium War/Federico da Montefeltro) and the Music Video (Waning Moon), so early access will be late today! We are hoping to have at least one of them ready for you sometime this evening so you won't have to wait too long. :)
For our overseas friends to whom "this evening" doesn't mean anything distinct, evening for us is about 8 hours from the time of this post!

We're doing a one-off this week, and it's about a person that James really loves and wanted to talk more about in a special Lies segment. So we decided it would make most sense to add that segment to the Opium Wars Lies, and delay that episode until next week!
Since we're effectively extending the period during which we'll still be talking about the Opium Wars, we also extended the period in which people can order the special wall scroll until July 27.
UPDATE: July 27 has passed, and...

Amid the wars that tore apart Italy, one small town became an unexpected haven of justice and knowledge: Urbino.
NOTE: The Lies for the Opium Wars will be out next week! We wanted to include some extra Lies for this episode about Urbino, so it only made sense to add that to our regular Lies episode.

Deadline: Monday July 11 before 3pm PST
James will read them all and answer as many as he can during the Lies episode next week.

The British have the upper hand, and will accept no less than complete Chinese capitulation. The Emperor must yield.

China had banned opium, so the British created a market in India and let smugglers do the rest. This was not okay.

We'll draw one suggestion from our raffle bowl... and find some way to share the results with you, since the Q&A (where we usually do a live drawing) was just last week! The winning suggestion will be added to the list of topics voters can choose for the next Extra History mini-series. If the voters pick your suggestion, your name will be added to the "Sponsor" list for ev...
