Here's a partial compiling of some of my art. Not uploading it all immediately as I want to get a personal and community feel for its organization.
I'm speculating having as much art thumbnails in the same space will help everyone navigate to the art they like more. However, I want to figure out how to handle things like alts or multiple page works taking up too much space, while still allowing users can find the specific page they want.
As well, I'm currently ...
I will be organizing full-resolution Patreon posts to accessible cloud storage soon-ish. I'm curious if you'd like vore images to have their own separate area.
" Do you like vore/mawshots? "
a little sketch between commissions. hope you like it!
Uploaded two to test something

Didn't do the doodles as much as I would have liked to this month, but I have some new ideas.

More high-resolution practice. Can you find all the tinies?
Playing around with shading. I know in most macro art you don't need that much detail to convey a sense of scale, but for some of my larger canvases, I want to be able to visually explore the "landscape." However, there has to be details worth zooming in for, otherwise there's no reason to scale up these drawings. Hence, I will be revisiting this to experiment with detailing.

I'm in the middle of creating an exciting, vampiric, building out-growth comic for a friend. I've spent a great deal of time educating myself how I'd like to draw cramped room scenes in forced perspective, as well as re-tailoring my workflow to better produce comics and design characters.
With permission, I've redesigned my client's OC to have several layers of clothing to outgrow. In these first few pages, I'm finalizing some details and colors in her design before getting into th...
Doing some perspective practice again.
A reoccurring issue I have in my personal, forced perspective work is how to handle body proportions. Lately, I've been sticking with stylized but not excessively exaggerated proportions to help sell distance. As, say, a large butt further away would look "normal-sized" but appear disjointed from the angle. So that's a side-quest for future me for figure that out.
I have a particular why I enjoy shading, but I regularly attempt "traditional" painting techniques to help me explore new methods and workflows for my own style. With my gradual shift to creating black-and-white comics, I'm learning to improve my value balancing. For at least if the grays are right, adding colors afterwards is an easy process.

The second half of 2024 included many attempts to expand my art abilities into more traditional techniques. While I like line art inking (that I usually gave cel some shading for completeness), I feel that striving for a more realistic, high-contrast stylized shading benefits the stronger, forced perspective angles I enjoy constructing.
I need to create many more drawings so I continue to improve my shading, and my 2025 goals include actually doing and completing the intermitten...

It's been a busy month. My computer bricked, so I needed to work extra days to buy some new parts. After being away from the canvas, my hands don't feel as steady now. To amend this, I'll be doing a daily sketch guantlet again.

July and August were months of heavy cleaning and organization. I did burn out a little, though I've still been doing very rough sketches here and there.
Lately, I've felt dissatisfied with how I do faces, specifically shading them and getting the eyes to be something I want. I'm experimenting with different styles to find the shape I like.
You may have noticed I'm pushing my forced perspective to inhabit something akin to a fisheye. I've not been a fan of the curved perspective ...

Big thank you to Paramouth Pictures, for bringing me on to help with the production of "Psyche!"
I challenged myself, and my toaster of a computer, to do high-res art for animation, which was a learning process. I feel more confident in how to approach it in the future.
There was a lot of focus in June to complete commissions, as well as pushing my shading and anatomy knowledge, which currently is not consistent enough for my taste.
I hope everyone had a great month!

Almost three years ago today, I started pushing myself harder to learn "better art". I've doodled around most of my life, but I never took art fundamentals seriously until the summer of 2021.
In those early days before imposter syndrome and crippling art anxiety, I felt confident, even egotistical, with the idea of becoming a "really good artist", and being able to make high-detailed art, with a focus on big perspective, for the macro community. It took about four months for that ego to...

Worked a while on this one practicing giga scale, as well as reworking my digital art workflow and experiencing the... experience of hand-drawing cityscapes.

Stayed up late sketching. Rosalina could probably enforce her universe better if she stayed 50ft all the time, though she may not get invited to karting as often.

I've taken a lot of time our of April to try and learn to digitally paint. While I have a ways to go before I'm confident with it, I learned much in value (black and white) balancing, although color still needs some work, I'm returning to my comfort zone of cel shading for now, though I feel some painting skills learning are benefiting it.
Also spent more the usual time experimenting with how to perspective lines, often resultng in a mess of spider webs in my roughs. Tiring, but...

There are a handful a techniques I use to draft out perspective lines for rough drawings, but I'm trying to iterate some new ways of ploting out angles. There are still some pov's that I'm working towards, namely, how to convey a ceiling/overhang if the viewer is primarily focused on a distant point, or how to manage conflincting horizon lines without fisheye lensing.

I've mostly done cel shading with a little soft shading, but I'm starting to experiment with a more painterly approach, at least for color.
