About to head out the door and the girls wanted some milk. Dangle feeding is where the breast hangs and “dangles” downward which can help the flow of milk as well as unblock a milkduct. I was really excited to find out that Victoria secrets now offers nursing bras! I decided to order three of them. Pictured abouve is the lovely addition to my nursing wear collection in 38DDD. The clips are made of sturdy metal looking material and the bra part is padded so it leaves room for leaking breasts. White vasospasms and rough nipples are common and nothing to worry about. If accompanied by a rash or flaky yellow skin it might be time to see the doctor. When in doubt always consult a medical professional.

When the toddlers get fussy mommies milk can settle tummies and create smiles again. In this lens you’ll see my 4 year old go from cranky and moody to a happy camper in a few moments time. This is a good example of why parents shouldn’t wean too early. Breastmilk is an easy fix and even a 4year old still needs the comforts of mommy.

If you’ll look closely at the nipple in the above pictures you will see a reddish black pinpoint on the center of the nipple. This is something that happens occasionally during a breastfeeding mothers journey. These milk blisters can be clear or clotted like a bruise under the skin giving it a red or black mole like appearance. This is entirely normal. There are times as a Breastfeeding Mother that you will need to hand express your breastmilk even if you pump. Hand expression gets the last bit of breast milk out so that it doesn’t sit in the breast causing bacteria to grow it also encourages the breast to make more fresh milk for your baby.
