I'm at the Wynn European pool in these photos, which has a very beautiful setting and is very relaxing & fun. I would highly recommend! I think the weekends may get a bit more rowdy, with a younger crowd, but midweek is really quite perfect. ☀️

Tuesday Thoughts

Happy June Everyone! Thank you so much for joining me for another month. I'm really excited for what's to come this summer. Las Vegas officially opened at 100 percent at midnight, so there is lots to celebrate. Live music is back and I'm hoping it will be better than ever! The heat is also coming this week, so I am foreseeing a lot of pool time. 🥰

It's kind of hard to believe that we are already half way through 2021. I think we have a lot of living and making up to do. Are you ready...

Happy Memorial Day!

I just love handwritten notes and cards! It's one of those things that slows me down and causes me to be thoughtful and deliberate with what I'd like to say. In today's fast paced world, I find it refreshing to use a fountain pen and a pretty card to celebrate a special occasion or for a thank you note.

Whiskey Wednesday

Old Forester Statesman, is Old Foresters most recent release. In 2017, it won the Master Award (the highest accolade) at the Spirits Business American Whiskey Masters . It was created as a tie-in with the movie, 'Kingsman: The Golden Circle'.  Old Forester Statesman is a balanced, distinguished, and delicious bourbon. I found it very easy to drink and I look forward to having more!

Kentucky Derby 2021

It's so exciting to have a normal Kentucky Derby this year! After all we have been through, it's encouraging to have our traditions slowly come back. As most of you saw from my survey last week, WoodFord Reserve won hands down to be the Bourbon of choice for the day. It's delicious and I saved this commemorative bottle, which was a gift last year, to open up on this  special occasion.
