Progress update episode 3 - Plans, LEWD animations, timeline ...


Hey everyone, I'd like first and foremost to thank you for your feedback on the second episode.
I have taken note of your messages regarding bugs, complaints, and issues, and I will release a patch in two weeks to make sure that I've fixed everything.

But then again, your support and feedback have been amazing since the release and mean everything to me, so to you all, thank you.

I hope you're hooked and happy to tag along on this journey towards the third episode, and then more.

If you want to be on the lookout for hints about this update, I created a Twitter where I'll share some photos of the game and characters as if they were sharing it on their Facegram.
They will all let you know what's up with them ;)

So, I've been working for a week now on the third episode, and I want to reassure people about a few things, which is why this post in open to everyone and not patrons only.

There were concern about a few things, especially the fact that LEWD animations were available to patrons only.
I'd like to address this first.

My goal, is to make sure that patrons who support the project don't feel ripped off, and at the same time, allow everyone who wants to try out my game to actually be able to play it.

I'm pretty new to all this patreon system, since I'm a new dev and this is my first game.

I try to take a step back and put myself in the position of my patrons because I was and am supporting different devs too.

That's why this system of a free version and a premium version was applied. 

As I said to many of you before, I'm trying different things until I find the best way to reward supporters of the game, and grow my community, all while delivering the best game possible. 

I also decided to try another method of release for the third episode which will allow everyone to download the premium game.
I was thinking of something like this: 

1st week = $20 and above
2nd week = $10 and above
3rd week = $5 and above
4th week = Public release

I believe this will be a better way to reward supporters and let the game be available to everyone at some point, with every animations in it.

There will be a rework in tiers advantages to make sure that this plan can actually make sense, for exemple 15$ and 10$ patrons will receive the game at the same time, so I need to make it more interesting by adding another advantage to 15$ patrons.
That's a lot of little details that I need to take a look at.

We'll see, but I just wanted to make sure you know that I'm not trying to be a milker or anything, there are enough of that on Patreon in my opinion.

I intend to finish the game by the end of 2022 and create another after that, because I like what I do, I like reading your comments on my game, see that what I create makes you laugh, feel emotions, and that you enjoy it, which is why I want it to be my job.

And that brings me to plans and the timeline for the rest of the year.
EPISODE 3 objectives:


My goal is to release a new episode every three months.

I strongly believe that I can do it.

As for this third episode, every events and important decisions are decided and all I have to do now is follow my timeline and work.

I obviously can't come up with numbers as of right now, but I'm pretty sure every episodes will be similar in terms of static renders, animations, scenes, decisions.

You will not download a patch, as I decided not to make one, since there are sometimes issues with them.
The overall size of the game is still quite reasonable, so I figured it doesn't need a patch for now.

Just download this version, and launch it. Your saves will automatically be transferred and available.

If you find any bugs, glitches, or anything unusual, feel free to notice me. I will fix it as soon as possible and provide a patch.

Release plan modification

After sharing my release plan for the episode 2 of "The Entrepreneur", some of you reached out to me and shared your concern about the vast amount of time to wait before actually being able to download the episode.

As you probably know, I'm still very new to this and learning, which is why I agree with you.
My goal was to reward each and every one of you accordingly. The higher your tier, the more benefits you get.
Perhaps the time you have to wait is too big when you consider the other advantages higher tiers offer.

Which is why I decided to change a few things with the release plan of episode 2 and the other episodes I will release in the next months.

I will let you have a say in this, as my goal is to make you participate in this decision that's related to my Patreon.

Here's the options:

Option 1 : Keep it like it is.

Option 2:
- 25$ pledges and above receive the game as soon as it's out with a complete walkthrough.
- 20 $ pledges receive the game as soon as it's out.
- 15 $ pledges receive the game 3 days after early release.
- 10 $ pledges receive the game 5 days after early release.
- 5$ pledges receive the game 7 days after early release.

Option 3:
- 25$ pledges and above receive the game as soon as it's out with a complete walkthrough.
- 10$ pledges and above receive the game 7 days after early release.
- 5$ pledges receive the game 2 weeks after early release.  

I tried different options because I truly don't know what would work best for you guys.

Keep in mind that each tier has more advantage than the previous one (custom renders, poll votes, name in the credits,...)

Anyway, I'll let this poll open for a while and hope you guys can help me decide what seems to be the most reasonable approach, just like you did by the past already.

The Entrepreneur - Episode 2 release plan

Release for the episode 2 of The Entrepreneur will be as followed:

March the 4th: Available to Proud Cock tier and above 

March the 11th: Available to Fierce Hen tier and above

March the 18th: Available to Poulard tier and above

March the 25th: Available to Chicken tier and above

March the 25 th: Official release of the game, but that free version won't have LEWD scenes included.

Progress update episode 2 - Numbers and plans



This week was tiring, lots of animations to create, and I'm glad I finished them all.


Everything is created and queueing so I can now focus on some other parts like photoshop, and coding.

My plan is to send the game to my testers on the 27th and, start the release on March the 4th as scheduled.

So far, here are the numbers for this update : 

50 animations
Around 1400 static renders (Not everything is rendered yet, so this number may slightly vary)
4000 lines of dialogue
20 choices that will impact the story and lead to different paths

I"d like to talk about this last one.
This second episode is when you truly begin to decide which Li's path you will get on.

Decisions you will take will make you earn OR lose points with the Lis.

I can't get into too much details because I wouldn't want to spoil you, but your choices will be more important than they were in episode 1, even though there will still be minor decisions to take.

I'm still hesitating to add a heartbeat sound effect when you come across one of these important choices, because some are subtle, and that's what I like about my game.

You will sometimes take decisions that seem unimportant when they actually are.

Now, I'd like to talk about future release plan.

First episode of The Entrepreneur was out on October the 17th.
Second will be out on March the 4th.

That's 4 months and a half between these two updates.
I don't like it, it's too much time between these two updates.

Then again, yes, I made a Christmas episode, which drained me out, took some time, and I needed some time to recover after releasing it.
What I learned from this was that people were more interested in the main story rather than non Canon updates.

Also, when I started working on that first episode I was starting from scratch.

Now, I made huge improvements in both my skills but also my workflow thanks to some of you and your suggestions, especially thanks to the help of a certain Kiwi whose name shall remain secret.

All of that brings me to this conclusion:

I should be able to release such big updates every 3 months.
I intend to keep true to this statement, and I believe I can deliver on time.

Anyway, I hope you are all impatient to see what's coming, so here's a picture of every Lis for your eyes.

Progress update Episode 2

Hey, this week was huge. I always like to keep my sex scenes for the end, and since I've finished creating all static renders and scenarios, that's all that's left to create.

There were a lot to create this week, I don't think you'll be disappointed with this update (wink-wink)

Also, I'm feeling confident about March the 4th.
The rendering station is working good, got about 6 days of static renders left, and then , from what I've planned to do, around two weeks of rendering animations.
That will leave to me enough time to create a beta version for my testers and have the script proofread.

Also, I know I'm late for February renders of the month featuring Alexa, they're created and queuing in my rendering station, so they will be uploaded around mid-february.

I'm thinking there won't be any renders of the month for March because of the update.
I already have a lot of work, so I'm prioritizing the release of that episode.

The Entrepreneur episode 2 - Early date release

Hi everyone, the image pretty much says it, but The Entrepreneur - Episode 2 will be available on March the 4th, 2022.

I was originally aiming for a release on February the 25th, but I realized that, even though it's doable, it will imply sacrifices regarding testing and a few other things, which is why I decided to postpone it for a week.

I hope you will understand.

I'd also like to apologize for not publishing a progress update last week, but I had not much to say regarding the avancements and therefore  decided it wasn't worth doing it.

Anyway, I'm hoping you're all as excited as I am, just a little over a month to wait for the early release.

Progress update episode 2

I was extremely slow creating renders and animation this week, so instead I chose to focus on writing the script.
Well, can't say it was a bad idea because I've wrote all that was left to write for the second episode.
Really happy with that, I was affraid of getting late in the developpement of this update.

I finished writing it yesterday, so today was a big and tiring day working solely on creating renders and animations.

I will come with numbers next week, as the script is completely done, so you will know what to expect regarding the size of this update.

Progress update episode 2! (v0.3)

Last week was a hard week.

I have no explanation as to why, but I had trouble focusing and working.
I've only been productive on tuesday, but the other days were terrible.

I hope next week will be better.
I still made some progress though.

The number of animations keeps growing.
The estimate numbers regarding this update are still to be determined, but I strongly believe we'll get at least as much static renders as the first episode (v0.2), and much, much, much more animations (wink-wink).

You might have noticed that I'm now speaking of my updates as episodes instead of version number something.

As said in my previous post, it makes more sense to do it like this.
So, the next update will be episode 2 which should be released by the end of February.

Progress update v0.3


Last week was a busy week with my personnal life as it was christmas, so I haven't worked as much as I would have liked to.

I'd like to first thank everyone who jumped on board since the release of the Christmas special. I hope you liked it, and are looking forward to what's next.  

Soon, we will reach my first goal which was to have 100 patrons who support the project.
It really means a lot everytime someone joins me on this journey because you're the ones who make it possible.

As a reward, I will create a special 4k wallpaper including all of the main girls of The Entrepreneur.

Also, I'd like to mention that I add a benefit to Mister Roaster tier.
At the beginning of December, for one of my Mister Roaster patron, I created 4k custom renders.
So, I came up with an idea.
Now, each month, every Mister Roaster patron will get one 4k custom render featuring one of the characters of the game. You can ask for any position, environment, even give me a photo which you would like me to recreate, I will deliver.

Now, let's talk about v0.3.

With Christmas, I jumped on the occasion and allowed my body to get some well deserved rest.

I started yesterday working again on the game and my productivity was better than it was those past two  weeks; I may have pushed my body and mind to their limits and needed a break.

Now, not a lot of thing to say, things are going smooth.

As I don't have a lot of thing to say about last week, I'll share the following with you. 

Next update will see a list of events that occur during 8 days.

So far, almost half of them are done, but there are more scenes in the four first days as opposed to the 4 last ones.

What takes the most time is creating the animations.
I currently have 53 animations, with some of them as long as 15 seconds. There truly is an upgrade in the animation department, in terms of quality and creativity.

I'm also starting to think I should rename v0.3 and the following updates as "episodes ...". Since the story is all written, I know how many episodes will be required.

So yeah, lots of things to think about and to do.

But I strongly believe I will be on time for an update mid-February.

By the way, Laura won the poll, she will be the January model and Alexa will be the February model.

Monthly renders of January !

Hey, so it's that time of the month again.
Since Lucy and Valentine already featured in our previous renders of the month, this time you'll have to choose between Laura and Alexa.
The winner will be the model of January, and the loser will be the model of February.

Progress update Christmas special episode


My apologies for not keeping you guys updated this past week-end, I was busy working on the Christmas special and I totally forgot to post the weekly update.

But I come with great news, as the Christmas special episode is complete and ready to be released.

I still need to send it to my testers, but it will be out in a week as planned.

So far we have :

407 Static renders (I had originally planned around 600, but I had to delete two whole scenes, because I wouldn't have been able to render the animations of theses scenes in time.)
40 animations
Around 1100 lines of dialogue between characters
(translated in both french and english)
100 % fun.


I'm proud to say that this has been created in 2 weeks and a half, and that it took me around a week to photoshop the renders, customise the overall look of the game, work on the music part of the game and translate it to french.

I'd like to mention that even though the quality of the renders are somehow still good, I was experiencing a new way of rendering my scenes, and some renders may look a little blur sometimes.
It's just like when I was working on The Entrepreneur v0.2, it took me a few tries and probably over 60 renders of one and same image to find fully understand how things worked and how could I achieve a good quality on my renders.
I didn't have time to experience this new method, so it might not be perfect, but I assure you it will be for v0.3.

I've decided that there will be a free version of the game with no animations.
The game with animated scenes will be available to chicken tiers and up.

You may not know it, but I like to hide easter eggs and such in my game, and this special Episode hasn't been spared.
Hidden characters from some famous franchise of videogames I used to play as a kid, upcoming new important characters of v0.3, recreation of a famous scene of one my favourite tv show, and many more, I hope you'll find some of them.

There will not be and update progress for v0.3 next saturday as I will mainly focus on the release of the Christmas special and therefore, won't be working on v0.3.

Although, I will come with a public poll regarding the model for the January renders of the month ! This time, you'll have to choose between Alexa and Laura.

Progress update v0.3 + 15 days till Christmas special release !

First of all, I'd like to thank and welcome everyone that's came since MrDot's cross promotion.
It makes very happy to read your feedback on my game, and you basically tripled the amount of views on the youtube trailer of my game, it's crazy !

Now, let's talk about v0.3.

This past week, I've been able to create two more scenes, those were big ones so I'm glad they're done.
Since my rendering station is working 24/7 on the Christmas Special, I'm slowly building up a huge queue of static renders and animation.
I also have decided that all static renders for v0.3 will be 4k renders downsized to 1080p in order to bring an overall better quality to the game.

I'll show you some samples of what to expect in a future update a few weeks from now.

Now, about the Christmas special episode.

I'm almost done rendering all the animations, only 9 more to go, and then I'll get all the static renders done.
For your information, those 28 animations amount to a total of almost 3100 static renders. Needless to say, that's huge to render in only a little over a month.
I'm impatient for you to see what I've cooked up for this episode.

Progress update v0.3


Last week was very productive as I managed to fully create one more scene than what I expected to create.

It felt good switching from the Christmas episode to the main story and was something I needed.
The Christmas episode was fun to make, but I wanted to progress in The Entrepreneur's main story because I have so much ideas and I can't wait to see how they will turn out once created.

I can't tell you a lot right now, I'll give you numbers once I have a decent amount of content created, probably around January.

Progress update v0.3

This week marked the end of the work on the Christmas special episode, and I can now fully focus on v0.3.

I had originally planned to finish it on monday, but I ended up finishing it wednesday.
Here are the official numbers (may change a little after the script's been reworked).

I'm pretty happy when I think that I created all of this in a little over two weeks.
I think I really improved with my animations, and I can't wait for you to play it.

In a few days, I'll start proofreading the script with the help of people supporting the project, and since the release of this episode is scheduled for December the 20th, these same people will receive a free version of the game on the 15th.
That way, they'll test it before everyone else and tell me if anything needs to be reworked.

Now, let's talk about v0.3.


Since today, I have been working on the script of v0.3.
Like I said before, I already have planned every scenarios for this update, but didn't do the writing part.
When working on 0.2, I made the mistake of writing all the script first, and then create all the renders and animation at once.

But we as humans tend to get bored when doing too much of one thing.
My goal for this update is to write a scene, and then create the renders and animations which will be part of that scene.
Then, I will proceed to move on to the photoshopping part, and finally work on the sound effects and music related to that scene.
All in all, I estimated that 3 days should be enough to write, create and select the sound effects and music of one scene.

What's uncertain though is the rendering time.
Depending on how many animations I use per scene, I sometimes can create up to 500 static renders for one scene.
That means around 5 days to render them.

So eventually, I'll face some days where I'll be left with nothing to do but wait on the renders to be created.

Since I didn't take days off when working on v0.2, maybe those days will be used as week-end, but honestly I wouldn't bet on that considering that I don't like not working on the game when work still needs to be done.

Anyway, we'll see what I come up with.
I'll be away from home this week-end, which is why the update comes out today.

Model for December monthly renders

As I said in my last post, it's now for you the occasion to vote and choose the next model who will pose for the monthly renders of December !

Since Lucy was the previous model, she's out of the competition for this month.
Poll will end on November the 21th at 10PM UTC.

Progress update v0.3 + Christmas special

Almost all renders have been created for the Christmas special, now what's left to do is the animations.
I've created some, but I decided to keep that part of the work for the end.
I should probably finish static renders today, maybe tomorrow, and then I'll need about a day to create those animations.
Long story short, it'll be done by tomorrow or monday.
I'll come up next week with the exact numbers for the Christmas special.

Next, I'll have to send the script to people so they can go over it and correct my english grammar, and finally a week before its release I'll send the game to 2 or 3 people so they can test it and give me their feedback.

The goal is to release the Christmas special for December the 20th !


What all that means is that I will go back to working on v0.3 next tuesday !
I'm so excited as I have plenty of ideas regarding this version.
I mean, the scenes are all planned, but I still need to do the writing part before creating renders.

I also decided to take next week-end off, so that my brain and my body can rest and come back in a better shape, as past weeks have been exhausting.

Progress update v0.3 + Christmas Special


This last week I've been writing the script of the Christmas episode and I'm surprised with what I've came up with.

Approximately 1200 lines of dialogue between characters have been written.
I have prepared 14 different scenes, which will probably make me create around 700 to 800 static renders.
I also have a goal which is to get a total of 38 animations for this episode.
At an average of 90 renders per animation, we're looking at 3420 renders to produce, which means I need to produce around 4200 renders in a month and a half.


It is doable, not going to be easy, as my rendering station can create about 100 renders every 24 hours, but I'll find a solution. 

A good supporter of the game which also happens to be an asset creator for daz gave me a solution to increase the speed of my rendering station and I still need to figure out how it works and how I can benefit from it.

Now, what I need to do is create the rest of the scenes during this next week and that's going to be the main challenge to be honest. 

I've had a bit of a setback regarding the "intro animation" for this episode, because apparently I had loaded too many models and Daz was rendering really slowly. It was taking 4 hours to create 1 render, so I had to sacrifice a few models for the background animations.  It's still pretty, but not as pretty as it used to be.

V0.3 on the other hand hasn't moved a bit, but that's as planned.
Renders of the month will be available to Chicken tier and up this monday.

Progress update v0.3 + Special Christmas episode + Custom renders of November

This past week I haven't had time to work a lot, I had many events planned and I've been sick for the past two weeks almost, sleeping an average of 4 hours a night, so my brain was not at its best, and I wasn't that much in front of the computer.
But I'm getting better, and I'm starting to feel the urge to create.
So I intend to work a lot more than usual this week.

Still, I've managed to create and queue 8 animations cumulating a total of 1808 renders, and I estimated the rendering time to be just a little over 21 days (*gasps*). These animations will take place in the "intro" of v0.3. I can't wait for you to see what I've done as I think it really looks good.

Now let's talk about my plan for the two weeks to come.
In my previous post I talked about a christmas special episode that will be released at ... Christmas, you guessed it.

So as my rendering station is occupied for a little over two weeks still, I intend to create that special episode starting Tuesday.
I haven't written the script yet, nor have I bought the assets, but I know what I'd like to do in this episode. In my opinion, two weeks will be enough to create the script + the renders. I can't estimate how long it'll take me to render those, but the sooner I start doing it, the more animations I'll be able to include in this episode.

Also, I don't want to have to spend more than two weeks on this project as I have big plans for 0.3.
I want to include a lot more animations, such as people walking in the streets while talking, or people hugging each other, etc... My goal was always to make the scenes more "vivid", with people doing things in the background for example.
Adding animations for mondaine things such as the ones mentioned above is really stepping up the level in my opinion.

Finally, let's talk about custom renders of November.
As you may have seen, Lucy won the last poll I published, and will be the model of November.
I already created a few of those, and I had so much fun doing those.
I decided to start working on the Christmas episode on Tuesday so that I finish the Special renders of November tomorrow.
They'll be out November the 8th and available to Chicken Tier and up.

So yeah, lot of things to do, but I've never been that motivated before.

MC Outfit 0.3 + Model for custom renders November

As I said in my previous post, this poll will allow you to decide which outfit MC will wear for the next update as well as decide which LI will be the model for the custom renders of November. the model will change each month based on the result of the poll I intend of opening every month.

Regarding MC outfit, I know it would make sense to alternate each one of those to make it more realistic but I kind of like sticking to one outfit for MC, and only alternate the LIs' outfits.

So from left to right, outfit n°1 is the one MC has been wearing up until now.
Outfit n°2 is mc with a combo black shirt + black jean jacket.
Finally, outfit n°3 is a more casual but still serious outfit.

Secondly, which LI will be the model for the custom renders of November ?  
Renders will be out early november, and will be NSFW.

Progress update v0.3 - News + Huge thank you !

First things first, yes I know this image is out of date. I'll upload a new one soon :)


This past week has been both stressful and tiring, but also exciting and rewarding.
The release of The Entrepreneur v0.2 had a huge success, and reviews are great.

I said I was going to take the end of the month to rest, but the enthusiasm the game provoked pushed me to start working again.

And so I come with news about the next release, which will be v0.3.
Script isn't all written yet, but I've decided what I want to happen, and prepared every scenes on the script for this update.
I already bought all the products I needed in order to create the scenes for this next update.

Coming up this week-end will be polls. I want you guys to participate in a few decisions regarding MC's outfit for the update to come, and custom renders of November, which will be published early November, as will be every renders of the month from now on.

MC's poll will be public, but custom renders' poll will be available to patrons only.

Next thing I'd like to announce, is that I plan on releasing a christmas special episode for christmas (how original)
It will be short, and will have nothing to do with the main story or TE, but will contain the same protagonists.

It'll just be a pleasure for the eyes (wink wink), to help you wait for TE v0.3.


Do not worry though, it won't delay v0.3 release as I estimated a week of working on it will be enough, and while the rendering station is focused on working on the christmas episode, I'll start creating TE v0.3 renders on my working station.

There is a lot to come, I'm super excited as always, and I'll hope to see a lot of votes for the polls which will be open until wednesday the 27th of October, 9 pm UTC.

The Entrepreneur V2.0 is out ! - Future Development Plan +

Let me proudly give you The Entrepreneur.

After 7 months of hard work, it is finally live.
Let's talk numbers now.
1429 static renders
32 animations
12 lewd animations
4800 lines of dialogues between characters
Approximately 7 hours to finish the whole 0.2.

I'm really happy with those numbers and I hope you will be too.

Now, let's talk about the future.

v0.2 is the first big version of the game, and I intend to bring 0.3, 0.4 all the way to 1.0.
To do so, I plan on releasing an update about half as big as  0.2 every 3 months.

That will allow me to come with quality content and for you to avoid waiting 6 months and lose interest.
In addition to this, every beginning of the month there will be polls for custom renders and other things.

I will take the rest of the month off to cool off and rest, and this plan will start on November the 1st, which means 0.3 will be out for February the 1st 2022.

V0.2 Completed and ready to be released

Well it took quite some time but here we are.
For those of you who are not on my discord, I havent slept much these two last days 

(Around 6 hours of sleep and only 2 this morning after a a full night of working on the game.)

But hey, guess what ?

Game's ready to be upload.

Because I need to promote it on several websites, discords servers, etc, and because I'm practically falling asleep on my keyboard, I'm going to take a small nap and when I wake up during the night I will upload it.

I knew I said it'd be out today, so I just wanted to give you a heads up.

Just a few more hours of waiting.

Then the game will be in your hands !

Release of V0.2 - Postponed to October the 17th


Although I don't like to come with bad news, I have a no choice but to postpone the release of the game to Sunday the 17th.  

A couple of animations need to be reworked, and I underestimated the photoshopping part. 

But most importantly, I haven't even had time to test the game.  Therefore, in order to release this first version I need two extra days.  

I really thought I could stick to my original deadline, and I'm bummed that I was not.  

But Sunday isn't that far, so I hope you can wait a little longer.
