A reflection of a chaotic 2022

So, 2022 wasn't exactly a great year, for me. Yeah, things started getting more back to normal in terms of places being fully open with COVID protocols easing up, and countries re-opening for tourists, but on a personal and professional level, things just took a turn.

This month was horrible. Since writing the November post, I found out my dad has a lymphoma mass in his stomach, to the point where he wasn't able to eat for a whole month. October was quite the roller coaster! 

We cut it close, but we were able to produce not 8, but 10 comic pages within the span of 3 weeks, before Eli went on vacation! I've been uploading the remaining pages one at a time, so once they return on November 7th, we will pick up right where we left off. :) 

I don't know when, or if, we will have a Halloween drawing ready, but if we do, you'll know when it's up. I also finally got around to finishing the beginning of ACES Chap...

Sorry this took a while; the original page 10 sketch was leaving out some important details from the script that we needed to show, which was my fault since I didn't have time throughout the month to break the text I had apart into pages (it's since been fixed!).

I can't say exactly what's going on in these pages just yet, but if you're able to fill in the blanks, you get a cookie*.

*...I've been informed the cookies in question were stolen and given to a local orphanag...

This is something extra Eli wants to do; they're gonna try to add a new drawing every day, and will also be available on their Twitter page. ;)

ACES: Chapter 2 Pages 47 & 48 SKETCH

Double the pages, this time. ;D I'm assuming this is to make sure there's a bit of buffer for the upcoming vacation? 

Anyways, a couple things on page 47 will be changed by the time it gets worked on digitally:

1. The Golem is supposed to have the ball of paper go inside him through the eye, instead of it currently looking like he gets hit with it; if you know a little bit about this particular golem's lore, you'll know why... otherwise, it'll get explained soon, anyway.

What To Expect: October 2022

To say September was a pretty good month would be a massive understatement; We were able to post a good amount of new content, and started streaming more often, and as a result, we were able to get some new patrons to join; To everyone who has recently joined, or the OGs have been sticking around, thank you once again for your support!

As for me, personally, I spent a good chunk of the month playing Splatoon 3, and also planning stuff out with Eli regarding what to do over the last 3 mo...
