WOW! This movie didn't disappoint! SO much going on, so much meaning in all the SHOTS. I loved how the lighting created so many shadows and an aesthetic, so I see why people love this genre. This movie is way more twisted and racy than you'd expect for the '40s.

Before Sunset (2004)

How can a sequel not only live up to the original, but also exceed all expectations? Before Sunset completely wrecked me in the most beautiful way. It’s unreal how a movie so simple can feel so massive--every word, every glance, just hits. I was giddy, heartbroken, in awe, and totally swept up in the quiet intensity. It pulled at every heartstring I have and left me shocked by how deeply it moved me. Just… wow. holy cow. I died.
