327 The Silent Automata

Denizens of the Tower!

Here's a forest encounter map with some interesting lore to kickstart a cool adventure. It is a secluded location in the depths of a great forest where an ancient ruin awaits after eons of abandonment. In the middle of an eroded expanse of stone tiles, three large pillars with alcoves in them house three grand automata. The obscure statues appear humanoid but the facial features reveal they were part of an ancient race different from humans. These three automata a...

A desert city under siege!

Traveler!

This is Imen-Shedet. This is an interesting location that was built on each side of a river that eventually dried up. Because of this, the docks district was relocated outside the walls and is exposed to attacks. Due to its strategic position next to the shore and the tall walls that protect and divide the city, Imen-Shedet is the target of many attacks from neighboring kingdoms. No one has ever managed to breach the 80-feet-tall walls.

The city is currently under siege....

Brochure Adventure 5 - A Scammer by the River

Denizens of the Tower!

This is the fifth installment of the brochure adventures series. Similar to my one-page adventures, these include everything in the brochure and they are all system neutral.

This one-shot adventure is about a mysterious woman who lives in upstream near the mountain with her sibling. The woman, Madame Iuv, has a shady reputation. She is a seer who predicts the future with a deck of cards and a crystal ball. People think she can manipulate fate but they also t...

Oakleaf Manor, a luxury inn for fancy travelers!

Hey traveler, take a moment to hear a story:

That building over there is Oakleaf Manor! This adventure is about a shady changeling underworld lord who amassed a large fortune in gold and assets because he is a genius at counting cards and predicting the odds at dice games and gambles. Because of his shapeshifting abilities, he was able to go unnoticed even after having week-long streaks of "luck". His name is Rathnir. He built a luxury inn on the road between two large settlements and h...

324 Oakleaf Manor - Part 1

Denizens of the Tower!

I'm currently working on a two-part project. This is Oakleaf Manor, a high-end deluxe inn in the forest between two large towns. The owner runs it as a front for some illegal business on the side and is often seen on the premises. I won't reveal a lot more about the plot now. I'll release a double-size lore/adventure in about two days with the second part of this release.

Part 2 will include the second floor, the cellar, and the PDF adventure. The maps come ...

Svlinten, the Glowing City

Hey traveler, wait a moment and hear the story of Svlinten:

"Svlinten is an underground gnomish settlement in the higher regions of the Underdark. A group of gnome prospectors stumbled upon the place and were enraptured by the strange magic-infused glowing crystals in the cave. The crystals shine as bright as a full moon. The gnomes saw that ordinary mushrooms and other underground vegetation grew to unthinkable sizes thanks to the light and the overall magic in the area and decided to ...

322 Jyker's Trapped Vault

Hey there, friends!

Here is the trapped dungeon I teased a few days ago. This is a small demiplane accessible through teleportation only. What was presumably an ancient wizard named Jyker hid his spellbook, staff, and other important documents here. This is just the bait for a bunch of crazy, greedy adventurers to come here and try their luck where scores of others failed.

There are some cliched traps in tandem one after the other: crushing walls, rolling boulders, spiked traps, p...

Denizens of the Tower!

This is a patreon exclusive release. Goldcrest is a medium-sized farming town surrounded by grassy hills and large farming areas. Each marked area includes a nice description with lore, an interesting NPC, and a possible quest for the adventurers to take. That's ten possible sidequests here. The adventures are simple in nature and this makes Goldcrest a cool starting town or a location for low level adventures. Of course you can turn up a few notches and accommoda...

Teaser of a trap-filled dungeon in the works!

Here are a few screenshots of a dungeon I'm working on. It includes several traps, one per room. What is hidden in the farthest wooden chest? I don't know yet, but I can take suggestions.

Pushing this pressure plate causes the giant stone to roll down. The adventurers must run to avoid being crushed.

Beginning the year with a cliché goblin adventure

Happy New Year, travelers!

I hope you all had a wonderful vacations time. Here in Mexico this season becomes an avalanche of celebrations and gatherings. We are still not done since we have the "Rosca de Reyes" celebration tonight. I've gained a few pounds, eaten and drunk like a madman, but perhaps January will be more calm.

This first map of 2020 is a natural cavern that nows serves as the lair of a goblin clan. The leader of this clan is an anomalous goblin of a larger size tha...
