A nice tasty set for you guys tonight <3 I am pleased with these-- particularly the top two on the left! Fletch and Judas... being so cute <3 They're starting to feel sort of "classic" to me, which is sorta funny, but I guess makes sense given I've been drawing a lot of new characters lately. I think drawing Fletch and Judas is always going to be comforting and homey for me. And very sweet for them. Even when I draw them having sex it's sweet lol.

Chapter 6 - 12

Welp... we're picking right back up where we left off! More of Judas and his... out-of-character anger towards Rodney. I'd love to know your opinions on this flashback as we're getting more into the thick of it. I could say a lot more about the dynamics of these characters but... ngl I've had a long day. lol. You write the blurb this time, how about that. xD

I will say one thing though-- Jaxsen from the past didn't give two shits about anything other than getting laid after they preform...

I realized as I was thinking about the dynamics of the characters for my next story... that I probably needed another background character. Then this... BL Napoleon Dynamic lookin dude became a thing. LOL. He's very easily distinguishable by his crazy hair that I'm going to hate drawing. (I'm all curled out already with Judas and his siblings hahah).

I think his name is gonna be Maverick (Mav for short). Yes, like Top Gun. But not for any other reason than I actually just like he name ...

Character Profile - Aaron Valentine

I had some sketches that I forgot about/didn't want to color like my usual doodles. I thought I'd still share them here though. Not gonna lie... the panels of Vance were going to be part of a mini comic-- "A day in the life of Vance" -- but then I forgot about it and I can't get my inspiration back to finish it lol.

However... we will be seeing more of Vance very soon...

CSU?? (Doodles)

So, believe it or not, this CSU does NOT stand for "Colorado State University" (like it does irl). But rather... the fictional University that these characters will attend. I'll let you guess as to what that C could be for now, but their mascot is a bobcat! (how cute!)

Aside from Keplan and Harver, which I think most of you probably know by now, the other two characters are Todd (bottom middle with glasses), and Croc (bottom right with hideous pants).

Sweet Tension (July NSFW)

I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy torturing Kinley a little bit when it comes to things like this lol. Granted-- I'm sure this was all consensual. Hardcore BDSM probably isn't Jaxsen's favorite, but I could see him dabbling in it here and there.

Anyway, I just wanted to draw bondage. Something hot hot hot for the month of July!

Fireside

There's still some stuff I'm learning about my new tablet/practicing in Clip Studio, so I struggled with some of the detail in this illustration, but overall I think I'm happy with it! I feel like I spend more time doing doodles and less detailed stuff lately, so this was a nice change of pace. Plus... it's cute to see Fletch and Judas in a different kind of "vacation" setting (although I'm not sure Judas would be the camping type...)

Character Profile - June Crow

I mentioned in a previous post that I'd like to do some character profiles for all of my characters (or at least, all the main ones!) and you guys seemed to like that idea! So, I'm starting with my very first webcomic OC ever-- June Crow. He's the main character of my very first webcomic "The Maple Effect" that was started way back in 2014, then later re-written as a novel and published in 2019.

Blooper Panels - 2 (NSFW)

Here are the rest of the "blooper" panels from the NSFW scene. This batch wasn't bad and almost made the cut, but I decided against it because it felt a little... overly confident for Judas? Even if he's drunk it didn't have quite the level of care I wanted for Fletch. I still like them as a sequence tho~ overstimulating Fletch will have to come at a later time hehe.

When we were young (doodles)

I've been kinda bumming the last couple days, but I find a lot of comfort in these little doodles <3 This time I wanted to draw some different ages of Dirt/Bebe/Harver. And I know a lot of you are new patreons (Hello! Hi! Welcome!) so if you're unsure... "Dirt" is Beau and Sage's future son. He's every bit as stubborn and proud as Beau, and every bit as charming and wily as Sage. In my future comic (planned for after TLLT), he's best friends with Harver-- a kid who grew up on some property...

Blooper Panels - 1 (NSFW)

The last update of TLLT gave me a lot of trouble with the NSFW scene, and while I'm fairly happy with how it turned out, I almost wish I would have left these panels in lol. I love a little humor in my NSFW, but Rowdy thought this was too "gross", and got in my head about it, so I decided to tone it down a little.

Almost Every One (Doodles)

So there's a reason why I'm drawing lots of these new characters lately, and it's not only because I'm excited about them and want you guys to also be excited lol. But it's because this is good practice for getting a character's design honed in and consistent. I would say 99% of the time I draw Harver now, he looks like Harver and it's all good! But then I do doodles like these and look at Keplan and think "there's something different about him in each one".

Young summer (Doodles!)

The last set of doodles I did was summer themed, but I was really enjoying myself with them, so I wanted to do more... this time with the new cast of characters! <3 All pretty self explanatory I think... Although I will say, that inflatable unicorn is (sadly) the gayest thing Dirt has ever ridden. And it seems to have popped under pressure... poor thing.

Concept Art - Dorm/Bedroom

I debated on whether or not this was worth sharing, since it's just kinda boring concept art stuff, but then I thought maybe it would give perspective of the characters in a different way. And sometimes it's fun to see "inventory" lists or whatever.

What I'm trying to figure out here is how I'm going to create recognizable settings in a comic where the characters will spend a fair amount of time, without it feeling boring or repetitive, and without having to draw every panel from scrat...

Somethin' bout Summer
