News - slight change in releases

Hey folks!

I had a come to Jesus meeting with myself last week.  It's common knowledge that I'm a slow writer, but it's been worse lately and I apologize.

I only have a little over 40k written so far.  The book is going to be 70-80k.  

What I've been doing has not been working well...so I'm going to test a theory.

I think I screwed up by going directly into Nora 2 from Nora 1.  I tend to do best if I take breaks, doing something else every time I g...

Hi -- this is going to be a little bit of a different post today.

Being a writer is weird because of the uncertainty.  You never know what you're going to make until you make it, so planning can be tricky.

I just went over my finances today...and this month sucks.  Last month was a motherficker.  Lots of bills, my expensive health expenses, and Nora 1  didn't do well.

To put this into perspective, the ebooks for Nora sold less in the first month than I've...

So this is the last draft of this cover.  I'm not calling it done, because it needs to be redone.  This is the overall composition I was going for but not the feel.

Epic BC knife...work has begun!

This is a little special, but I have decided to share it with the folks on here that can see art--nobody else.

I commissioned a knife by a world-renowned custom smith a while back when I knew I would going to go full time.  This would be my artist's knife, the symbol of my brand I'd bring to conventions and such.

This particular smith is so sought-after, he only takes work that interests him or pushes his skills.

Hey everyone!  My business relationships have shifted some, but I still have a few irons in multiple fires and one of my friends might co-write with me!  I'm going to keep some of the details close to the chest for right now, but after giving him a number of story ideas, he narrowed them down to the three that interest him the most.

I suggested that we show you the three ideas we talked about and see which ones interest you all the most. :)

Status 3/31

Hi everyone.

I have to come to you all with my hat in my hands.  I'd said that I'd have Nora done by now, but I'm a little less than halfway done.

Furthermore, the newest chapter has gone through 3 rewrites and I have a health issue right now.

I don't want to freak anyone out, and I am not posting this anywhere other than here, but I'm going in for a CT on Monday (hopefully).

I'm going to work as long as it takes tonight to get the newest chapter up, and hopefull...

Good news and bad news (3/25)

Hey all, I'm a little annoyed I have to do this, but I'm scrapping the last 2 chapters I just wrote.

The good news is that I will be posting 3 chapters today, up to chapter 9 of Nora 2.

I have to pass out right now, but as soon as I wake up, I will finish editing and post them.  Depending on what time zone you are in, they will be up late tonight or tomorrow morning.

March 2018 update

Hey all!

Sorry I haven't checked in for a bit.  I've been spending quality time with my fiancee.

-However- I will still have a few chapters to post in a few more days, /and/ I'm still committed to finishing Nora 2 by the end of the month.  I will be nose-to-the-grindstone around the last week of March.
