If you remain a perfectionist and don't do anything about it, you'll still have that kit lying on the shelf three years from now

Nowadays, sales channels have expanded through mail-order and other channels, and garage kit figures are easily and readily available to everyone. I think there are more than a few people who would like to try building/painting garage kits because of the quality of their modeling.

Think about it for a minute. If a garage kit of your favorite anime or video game character with a shape you like so much were to go on sale... whether or not you could assemble and paint it yourself, the pric...

What you need to know if you are considering a garage kit commissions for a low price.

*This article is a translation of fantia's blog. Please note that the situation in Japan is different from the situation in other countries.

What are your top priorities when you are thinking about submitting a garage kit on hand for commissions? Imagine this.

  • The lower the price, the better.

  • But the higher the quality, the better.

  • The creator is trustworthy or has a proven track record.

In Japan, there was a new GK event the other day: tonari no mokei festival. Maybe this event will grow in the future like WF!

So I'm going to continue writing about the production of Toki. This time I will write mainly about the tights and the actual skin painting.

I have noticed that it has been getting devilishly hot and I can feel summer approaching with my skin senses. However, June is the rainy season, which is not so easy for model makers. To avoid water from the airbrush, you should use a water separator or something similar.

I use this.

Almost blog + Bunny Toki Wip

Since we have a blog and some of you subscribe to it, let's write about the progress of our work. I've often published a summary of my work after it was completed, but I'm going to experiment and write a blog on an as-needed basis. In short, I'm going to increase the frequency of updates.

I've been posting my work progress on X for a long time, and I've been posting it on X because it's easy, but I'm planning to start a life where I basically don't look at social networking sites...

I am now trying to get a large amount of work done in the fastest possible time

Recently, I was finally able to work with gusto, so I did everything at once, from video editing to uploading, auctioning, soliciting production requests, and so on.

It has been a long time since I finished editing a video in two days, which would normally take a week to finish. I plan to increase the frequency of video editing and uploading as I have more work to do in the future.

I plan to work roughly 10 hours a day, so I hope to be able to get all the commissions I've been loo...

[Making process] Vispo's Azur Lane Gorizia making process and tips 2

Since this is my first post in a while, I tried to write about what is extremely important and indispensable to continue painting as a hobby or a job, not about which paints to use, which solvents to use, or other such petty techniques.

In my previous post, I reported on the points to note and the parts that were processed during the process from surface treatment to Dry...

[Making process] Vispo's Azur Lane Gorizia making process and tips 1

It's been a while since my last post.

I have been away from work for a while, but now that I am able to return to production, I will try to write articles in parallel with my work.

Recently, there have been video lectures where you can learn about prototype production and painting, which I think is great, but in the end, it is up to you to decide whether or not to do it, and you need to a...

Kashima-Kaze & Kokkoro Photo Collection (for auction)

Hello! I hope everyone is doing well.

I have been in poor health for a number of reasons, but I have managed to get back on my feet. I am planning to recover my health by July and start working on models again, but then I will have to start from organizing my room....

I would like to auction off some of my works that I have already enjoyed enough.

[Making process] Blue Archive two sculptor's Toki bunny

It has been a while since I have written an article about my work.

This time, I would like to report on the toki of Aoki Sougetsu and French Doll, both of which I created in the recent past.

Both of them had a small number of parts, but each of them had some difficult points, so I would be happy if I could give some hints to those who are going to make them in the future.

If you are interested in toshi's bunny toki, which I made as an example before, please check out my prev...

[making process] Blue Archive Ogata kanna swim suit ver. Process & tips2

In this post I will summarize the painting of the swimsuit and eye paint.

This canna has a simple modeling and division, so there is no need to worry about painting.

Swimsuits are stress-free because there is no need to mask the skin. However, the gap will be noticeable if the parts are not tightly fitted.

Since the modeling was simple, no materials for coloring were created for thi...

Hello! Thank you for your support.

This time, I would like to introduce the making process of Kanna, a swimsuit made by toshi molding, which I helped the other day.

The kit itself is a simple one that even beginners can tackle, so I don't think it needs any special explanation, but please note that there are some processes that are not mentioned in the video.

[Random tips] Something technical to fill microbubble fills nicely

Last week, I was working on the surface treatment of Sirius sculpted by Moteki-san, so I'll summarize that a little bit at a time. This is a review of last week's work. I can't work on the GKs on weekdays, so I'm going to do what I can on weekends.

Since I have reduced the amount of time I spend on models to the level of a hobby, my speed is at the level of a turtle, but I think I've been able to recover my motivation gradually.

I posted about micro-bubble filling la...

[making process] Fujiyama sankaku Blue Archive Sexy seia de sumanai...Process & tips2

In the previous article, I mainly summarised the surface treatment and axing, so the next step is colouring.

Recently I have been making colouring specifications in advance, so I am doing the same this time.

In the same way again, I made eye-decal style data and actually drew it on the parts while getting an image of eye painting.

As always, I will not discuss the process of ...

I helped with the color sample of the ”セクシーセイアですまない・・・。” from the new Blue Archive by Fujiyama Sankaku, which was anounced the other day.

This kit was simple, but interesting because the original illustrations were in monochrome, so we had to decide on the colours from official illustrations and fan art.

I'm going to introduce the p...
