Hello there dear Habsburgs and Bourbons,
moving on with the jewelry design, materials and heightmaps for the Mythic Dawn Priestess project.
As i posted lately, I modelled some very simple medallion-based layouts of the jewelry and tried to distribute these elements in a balanced way.
I added a dark pearl at the bottom end of the front lacing...

Hi guys :)
Moving on with the toughest part of redesigning the Leto Outfit into MDP.
My first attempt will be a simple form and an elaborate texture of the pendant's medallions. So first I try to set up some nice proportions and scale of the elements and secondly I'll experiment with the materials in Substance Painter.
I also tried to keep the pendant as the bodice front fastening since I really liked this f...

I wanted to post Falka (and Saskia) 1.7 at Nexus today, but I discussed the steel material recently with one of the Patrons and we got to some interesting conclusions.
I need only a bit of time to incorporate these ideas and the major update will be available at Nexus this week I hope.
So please stay tuned :)

I wanted to post this one for a long time - speaking of masks headdresses and voluptuous gowns.
I don't know if the Emerald City series is any good as far as screenplay goes, since I just watched it for the costumes. :D I really admire every Tarsem Singh movie (he is the director here) as far as aesthetics are concerned. I also Loved The Cell, The Fall and Singh's Music Videos like Loosing My Religion by REM.

I thought I'd do a little bit more this weekend regarding the MDP project, but I had to clean my flat :D since things started to pile up dangerously. What I managed to do, is to think about the new belt concept. Again, I started with medallions forming a chain and I think I'll stick to that.
Only few details left to remodel and I'll be able to get back into Substance Painter and redesign the materials, which will be the final stage before screen tests :)
Have a gr...

Another quick report about the recent redesign process.
The headdress is done, the necklacer is done and the bracers are done. Time to move on to the bodice and skirt, where I want to redo the jewelry accessories and details, since the general form has been redesigned already in the first Leto version.
Stay tuned!

Well here goes the final look of the headdress :)
I really like the medallions motif - it looks more like Hermaeus Mora - related, which adds a pile of evil to the look, which is kind of nice I guess :D
Now time to move on to the necklacer :)
Cheers!

I finally started to redesign the recently banned Leto Headdress into The Mythic Dawn Priestess Headress.
I gave the previous no 6 sketch a go in 3d and went somewhat into details with it.
So, to model the multilayer halo I created 5 layers - front to back:
1. The organic sunrays
2. The linear sunrays
3. The structural wire halo
4. The back...

Hello there Habsburgs,
here is a geometry and setup update for Falka and Saskia.
What's new (as I informed also in wip section):
1. Added lining and better edge textures to the skirt and the bolero part.
2. Made the bolero smoother by adding more mesh resolution.
3. Added more thickness to heavier steel parts.
4....

I finally started to think about some alternative looks for the former Leto Outfit. I'll try to stick to mythic dawn theme. Since I really like the rising sun motif for the headdress. here are some first designs. I will produce a bit more I guess. But I already like some of them :)
What do you think?

So here goes the first The Story Behind post, and we're talking the Black Corset Dress. It's my second published mod, but it was the first outfit I made for my character Eve Vette. I'd like to tell you a bit more about what made this mod happen, what inspired me to start the project and a little bit about the technical struggles. Hope you'll find this stuff interesting :)

Hey there dear Patrons,
a small WIP update.
I like to add a bit of a story to the mods I make, but doing quests is so time consuming in CK. This time there will be of course some writing about the Dragon Girl - Saskia. And here enters Roderick De Novembre :D My new alter ego.
I'm not great at poetry, but this time I decided to write some rhymes ;) So, hold on to your seats a...

I decided to develop Falka model even more and do the things I wanted to do for a long time but I was a bit affraid to ruin the rig. But I learned some new things about skin wrapping and all went quite well.
1. Added lining and better edge textures to the skirt and the bolero part.
2. Made the bolero smoother by adding the mesh resolution.
3. Added more thickness to heavier steel parts.
What is still to do:
1. Refining the edge texture scale.
2. Checking th...

Unfortunately the Leto Outfit had to be shut down, both here and at Nexus, on the request of the original author of the outfit.
After a brief chat she told me, that she had no problem with the mod itself, but it became somewhat widespread and that was not very pleasant to her since she started to worry that people would think she recreated the mod and not the other way.
Well, nothing left to do in this case, but to respect her will. Shame that she didn't tell me t...

Here it is,
Falka Armor 1.5-beta featuring the Saskia Retexture clean/shiny and dirty/worn versions.
The package lacks the crafting recipies for Saskia. I'll add them later.
Works both for UNP and CBBE. Do not hesitate to report of anything is wrong with the package.
Enjoy!

I just finished adding some really little details to the new retex like a new look of the raven brooches and refining the normal bumps here and there. I also played with clean/dirty versions. In the pics you can see the clean and shiny one :)
The early access is planned for tomorrow :)

Did some first screen tests with Falka to Saskia retex. I'm quite happy with it, especially that I managed to change the armor's appearance pretty much. Even the belts look a bit different than originally :D It was fun to do :)
I think I'll do some small tweaks and we'll be ready to do an early access for Habsburgs :)
Stay well guys.

Moving on with turning Falka to Saskia. I put some dirt on the brigandine and liked it :D Also designed the breastplate basing on Saskia's set.
I'll be doing a bit more details and more wear here and there.
I'm also thinking of doing a clean/shiny and dirty/worn versions. What do you guys think?

Hello Habsburgs and Bourbons,
did a very quick test of the first Falka Retex element - the brigandine material. I used a diffuse color texture rendered in 3ds max to get the material's color and a cropped z-depth map to get normal bumps and another cropped z-depth map to define specular channel (since the higher the level the more glossy element - fabric/leather/steel)....

Well,
after a intense Nexus Leto Party ;) let's slide gently into Saskia Retex for Falka's Armor.
How to create a nice diffuse + dirt + heightmap texture set to get a complex 3d effect in the materials? Of course model and render it and then cut a nice tile out of it :D
Currently preparing a detailed brigandine material for Saskia version of Falka's Armor.
Stay well guys :)

Hi there Patrons,
Happy Christmas Holidays to you all! :)
In the meantime I'd like to ask you if you prefer my stuff in the UNP or CBBE variant? - since I'm currently only able to do these two myself.
Unfortunately my mods have to be converted to the remaining body shapes by others.
Thank you in advance. :)

I'd also like to announce, that as a thank you for your wonderful support here at Patreon, the Leto Outfit Beta<...

A quick update. The bodice is beginning to look :) I'm doing all the small details by hand to get a fully non repetitive pattern. It takes ages but I hope the effect is worth it.
Once the pattern is finished there will be time for some more seams wears and scratches and we'll be ready to move on to weight-painting.

Well, finally managed to work on the materials for Leto outfit. I had some other things to do last week including recovering after the exhausting tutorial work. :D
I'm really excited since the outfit is starting to look better and better. I did some alterations and transformed the original bra into a front-opened bodice and shaped the borders a bit differently.
I also fixed the belt

This month I'd like to present you a huge inspiration of mine - Beata Seivi is a Swiss corsetiere and a sewing tutor. She was born and raised in Poland so I'm also a bit patriotic here ;)
I admire how she can adapt a historical form to create a nice fit and using really nice modern materials. She also celebrates some classic eroticism via her works. A perfect combination of elegance and femininity.
You can read a bit more about here here (the page is in German):
