Some serious modelling is going on ;) I will explain a bit of this process in the next episode of Outfit Creation Guide. I already started to write the chapter :)
The bodice is done and the skirt simulation went well. Also we've got some nice bracers. Some minor fixes are still to be done :) It's time to move on to UVW mapping.

As I mentioned earlier I prepared a package of all the Falka Armor Wip Helmets that made it to the in game tests stage.
So it's a small holiday gift to Habsburgs ;) but I thought also it should go to Bourbons since they're just behind the highest tier and they should get a present from time to time as well ;)

Drawing some intricate details in Substance Painter on a well-mapped model can be very relaxing ;) That's my idea for this autumn COVID weekend.

This weekend I decided to take a short break from Falka and to model the headdress I was mentioning in the recent Inspirational section.
I started with modelling it while just looking at the photo and it was really hard. That's why I put the original photo into Photoshop and straightened the perspective just to place the appropriate views in 3ds max as references. It wasn't that precise...

As you already noticed, the 1.2-beta version of Falka is in early access for Habsburgs.
I'm still planning a 1.3 ver with some geometry tweaks but it will take some time.

So who wants to test this thing ;)
1. Contains a body and separate boots, gauntlets and a helmet
2. It's craftable under Advanced Elven Armor
3. The armor values and weights are balanced
4. New cubemaps
Some texture detailing still to come :)
Edit: Some more details had arrived ;) and gloves cubemap fixed.

As I watched your recent votes in our helmet poll, I worked a bit on the details of the big visor version (since it seems to be your favourite so far).
I also plan to release all the other helmets as a extra pack for my dear Habsburg Patrons.
I think we're getting closer to the final design.

This helmet is probably the hardest thing to model for a long time. Or maybe I should say "to design".
I picked my favourite and did a screen test to check it out if it fits the set. While I'm very satisfied with the gauntlets I'm not that satisfied with the helmet. I'm going to make some more tests ;)

I did another variant today - the partly open-face one, and I'm a bit more happy with it :)

It sometimes seems that a certain design looked just as it should from the very first time. Well, it wasn't that easy in case of Falka Armor - that is for sure. ;) Probably because I skipped the paper and pencil concept stage and decided to design it fully in 3d.

Ok, Habsburgs get ready ;)
It went a bit quicker than expected. You can test the UNP beta. And if you want to obtain the armor from a chest - please see the instructions image in the gallery above.
Edit: CBBE is also here. I will enhance the decollete more since I'm not 100% happy with it.
Some minor clipping may occur in bent/twisted poses.
I'm also planning some more accessories to complete this one.

Did some more previews of Falka in the Violet Stays Outfit (actually it doesn't look violet on these screenies since the LUT is making it look more reddish ;) ). Hope you'll like it.
The mod will be available for Habsburgs just as soon as I'll fix the arms rig a bit, add the ground objects and check the armor setup in the CreationKit. A couple days I think.
