None of the royals i.e Noelle, Nozel, Mereleona, Mimosa etc were possesed by elves and I believe this was intensional. The eye of the midnight sun/third eyes hate humans in general but the hate royals more so. Remember when vetto said to Noelle that all humans were currupt but that her clan was the worst or when Raia said to Mereleona he would like to go for a drink with her, but too bad she was a royal (not just human but a royal). The first wizard king was a royal and so if he is believed to have been the one that killed them all then it makes sense that none of the reincarnated elves would want to inhabit a royals body
