I remember watching it opening night. I had no business watching it but it was the talk of the town and we all got free tickets to go see it because we went to the Potter's house lol.

He would still have defenders if he was plain or ugly because that's what the other 1D members have too. People are really defensive over their nostalgia. He said the same "I have love for her but was never in love with her" bullshit about Perrie Edwards. He learns nothing; I feel so bad for Gigi and the baby that they have to be subjected to that. I use to feel bad he wasn't a bigger star - now I'm grateful.

2026-02-14 04:39:12 +0000 UTCI had to go thru heat damage, perm/pixie cut, braids/crocheting, & my natural hair breaking off bc I could not find a way to manage it. All I got told was that I had 4C hair & it wasn’t until I got locs (3 years now) that I realized it was more than just the texture of my hair. I have high density, low porosity, and thick ass hair lol. So I def think black women need to stop simplifying their hair to just texture & length.

I wish Cardi B the best with the tour and haircare line, most likely she won't be torn apart like Rihanna was since her natural hair isn't short. I agreed with the hairstylist on principle and logic, but her attitude and delivery were horrific. I hope Beyoncé's bob inspires a wave of embracing shorter hair like Doja Cat inspires going bald.

2026-02-14 02:20:50 +0000 UTCwhew i love this. first of all: i’m glad we can be honest about how we feel about beyoncé’s relationship with jay-z LMAO. this goes back to what you said about women’s allegiance to their husbands. the institution of heterosexuality needs to be studied (and it already has been!) also: with regards to hair, i quite literally leave black women alone bc we can never have an honest conversation about our relationship with our hair. so many of us do not want to deal with the hair on our heads at all, then we’re upset when our hair is unhealthy and doesn’t behave the way we want it to. THEN some of them also want to have long natural hair just to say they have it, when it’s like: WHY? you don’t wear it, you don’t care for it, why bother? we’re always looking for the next product that will ‘tame’ and grow our hair when that’s not how it works. your hair requires care, and that means cleansing and conditioning it more frequently.
