AY
Welcome back to bupdate, this time brought to you by me, Earndil, again.
Miss me last time?
Of course not.
Or maybe?
Who knows.
When was last time?
Who knows.
Shit.
Anyway-
Got some very fun updates on the topic of Half-Life: Zero Viscosity (Keep an eye out, that show's title is about to get very lengthy indeed), we are well on the way of piecing together the episode, and so far I will say it is looking terrific!
Yes, I know I'm working on it, thus having a bias, so my opinion on the show is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine, but I swear it's gonna be great.
This one's gonna set some of you on your asses with laughs, and we're at least 75% sure Pit Drone will worm his way into your hearts like a common heart worm.
The primary workload is currently on the animators including Alfabusa, Karl and our lead illustrator Garrot who serves as an additional animator when not illustrating, and it is going incredibly smoothly.
The current goal we have is to release the video in early June.
It is much later than we would've liked if we're totally honest, but the scope of the episode in quality quantified by its length makes this the heaviest project we're ever worked on.
We're hopeful you'll notice this by the time of the release. If you thought EP3 of Hunter was fun, this episode is like that one but amped up.
Whatever we work on after this we're hoping will take significantly less time to compose while retainining that quality, as we've learned a lot making this work, including more effective time management on the animator side of things.
Work has begun partially on the next episode of ZV past this upcoming one, including collection of Voiceovers, including one such person who both me and Alfa are so unreasonably pleased to have on the project.
Who is this mysterious person you may ask? I can't tell you. I WON'T tell you. You can't MAKE ME TELL YOU. Not yet, anyhow.
But he did a great job and was a ton of fun to speak with, both on the project and in general, much like that FUCKRE we got for the prior episode to be released soon, Gianni Matragrano. Trust me, we're just as surprised as all of you that we get to bump elbows with so many talented and well-known people.
Storyboarding for ZV #3 is underway, and our storyboardist cockpuncher3 is doing a fabulous job, as he did last time, so we are looking forward to that. Frankly we are trying desperately to resume the pace of releases we had towards the start of this little errantry of ours, so hopefully no more sickness (please PLEASE channel your medical energy into our core staff so they don't DIE)
What else...
Work has intensely flared up on the script side of things for HTP recently.
The next episode of Hunter is currently coming along and we're excited to say that every single character you've been introduced to in the Audiologs these past many months are making their official animated debut in the fourth chapter.
You can see a few of them up above in their Arcanum uniforms!
A bit simple and sketched out just today but yeah very neat.
If you haven't listened to the Audiologs, don't worry, due to the supplementary nature of the Audiologs, the main episodes will assume from the onset that you haven't learned of them yet...
Following the lead left to them by Kevin the Vampire Wizard, the family drive their shitty old bus to the rancid township of Great Yarmouth to meet with Marckus' friends, Marckus' enemies, a certain Detective Sergeant, as well as the lofty and conceited geriatrics of the Arcanum organisation, for the family has learned that there is an impostor in the midst of the Arcanites.
The safety of all hunters in the county might be at stake lest this vampiric agent can be found and excised.
And what's even worse is that it could feasibly even be someone we have already met.
Maybe. Possibly. I cannot say.
We're still at it with the actual writing of this script but, so far, its a lot of fun, and a fresh new challenge to write for so many characters in such a small space. But it feels immensely satisfying to get to just take all that we have established up 'til now and coalesce it into a single, exciting story.
We hope you look forward to it!
What's more...
Oh
Despite reality's best efforts to destroy Speaker, he is still managing to compile work in regards to the upcoming liveplay! Since I'm not involved beyond being a player, I can only assume good things are happening on that front.
And I believe that's all we have for you this update.
We shall eagerly await your opinions on HLZV and all out other upcoming stuff!
Until then, I have to go mess with dgVoodoo2 to try and get Mech Commander 2 to run and not look like Megabloks by way of a Jackson Pollock painting.
Hope you all have a great weekend, and a poppeng rest of your day!

Until next time, have a good one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
