A wonderful episode, really well done, and has left me feeling just so positive for the future and going forward. I know some people think I'm silly to have those feelings, but I don't care π€£A few secrets were revealed in this one, but it couldn't have ended any better. I'm just so very pleased π₯°

My mum watched these shows the other way around, watching all of Angel first. She started Buffy and was horrified by how Cordelia behaved in Buffy S1.

2024-10-01 04:33:17 +0000 UTCVery good episode that has a parallel to the Buffy episode 'The Wish'. In that episode everything diverges from the moment when Buffy doesn't come to Sunnydale. Here, everything changes from the moment when Cordelia doesn't meet Angel at the party in the first episode of Angel. There is a DVD extra showing about 4 minutes of a scene cut from the show for time. It depicts scenes from the potential sitcom 'Cordy'. In the episode they only show the opening credits but they actually filmed a scene for the sitcom. Also, Mere Smith, the episode writer, said that because Charisma Carpenter bears more than just a passing resemblance to Mary Tyler Moore, they used 'The Mary Tyler Moore Show' opening credits and theme song as an influence for the "Cordy' show.
