MIASMIC CORRUPTION

A little proof of concept I've been brainstorming after finishing the latest 'Zenless Zone Zero' storyline! I've always worked with ideas that features technology, and this is my first time working with organic things, so please forgive me if it looks a little off, I'm learning as I go~

Step 0: Exposure
In the world of ZZZ, anyone that stays in the Hollow for too long will be corrupted by Ether/Miasma, slowly turning into Ethereals and similar beings. Anyone that is exposed to the spores of Lemian Hollow WILL turn into a 'Miasmic Plant'.

The origin of the 'Miasmic Plant' is unknown, but it's rumored to stem from a corrupted Proxy that was also specializes in horticulture, which results in the plant-based transformation! His 'spores' are airborne, and anyone inhaling it too long will slowly turn into a 'miasmic plant'.

Step 1: Numbing
Much like the 'Miasma' in all of Lemnian Hollow, inhaling the spores for too long will cause the victim to hallucinate, with the purpose of luring the victim deeper into the Hollow. Then, few hours later, their brains would start to numb down, making them more susceptible to suggestions. The hallucination starts with your own memories, but it will start creating false memories, making you believe that you belong in the Hollow. The spores will lure you into the garden, where a lot of 'miasmic plant' take root.

Step 2: Taking Root
Once the victim's been lured to the garden, the spores will start altering the person's hormones and start rooting the person's feet onto the ground, slowly enwrapping the victim's body, allowing their body to become the core.. At this point, the victim's already in a trance. All they can hear are voices from the mother-plant dragging them deeper and deeper into dumbing down their own brain so they can be nothing but spore-producing saplings..

Step 3: Spore Production
After a few hours, the sapling quickly grows into a fully bloomed 'miasmic plant', with the victim bounded in the middle (like the illustration). The 'plant' will then start producing its seed, leaking passively, but with the help of the miasmic hallucination, the victim would excrete a large amount of seed, filling up the 'bubble'.

It takes a few days for the spore-bubble to explode, spilling out all the 'seed' onto the surrounding area, corrupting the surrounding vicinity with its pheromone, and as the 'seed' evaporate, the newly produced spores are carried by the wind for another Hollow Raider to inhale...!

Of course, this is just a proof of concept, which means it's subject to change, so if I ever revisit this idea in the future, I might change a few things, but do let me know what you think! Plant-related TFs is something I've never explored before. I've always prefer futuristic-technological kind... but I won't be opposed to any perma-jizzin' plant-thingy.
