I came home with a virus so it's taken me a while to post since my trip to Anchorage.
This was shot in downtown Anchorage. I think it was 20 degrees F outside and had just started snowing. I couldn't ditch the undies because I didn't have a long skirt for the walk to and from the hotel.
I loved being in Alaska. Yeah, it was cold and snowy. I got to entertain an audience who really loved what I did.
I went dogsledding. This is my fucking boss faux fur coat that I made like a crazy person. The ride was six miles round trip. I'm learning how to mush my own team of four dogs next time I go to Alaska.

I also ate ice cream in the snow. I ate some snow as well. Don't worry-- it wasn't yellow.

I checked out some snow sculptures. I don't know when they were made. Some of them were pretty gamey, but March is near the end of the snow season in Anchorage.

And I went to the zoo.

Some festivals are so packed with festival-related activities that there's not much time to explore. I run into problems when I go to a city just to perform with no wiggle room to check things out. This trip was very different.
I'm home, healthy, happy and working on the next project. I appreciate your support.
