Love it. I honestly think that the bald and sleek look is a great style choice for the seals. They've such an iconic shape to their heads that covering it up would *almost* be a crime. Not to mention a pain in the butt when you're swimming and your hair gets in your eyes or tangled up. Maybe something punkish and short. Again, you're a master at a round heft, not to mention gravid, in this case. It's something I want to learn, for certain.

A little worldbuilding can go a long way (and it's just a fun exercise too). I try not to ever get too heavy on exposition, cause I want the piece to be able to stand on its own. I'm curious about these separate timelines you're considering!

I also like how you can parse out bits of world lore just by their decoration (looks like one's got a tail sleeve or pouch, for instance) and the way the might carry their phones. I've always preferred bicep phone holsters myself, but those thick tails certainly lend some room for carrying things.

Streamlining I think would be paramount to them! I haven't fully decided yet myself, but lately I've really wanted to take some time to consider world building myself... I'm finding myself possibly on the cusp of two separate universes, or two timelines within the same one! In general, I want to be much, much more productive overall this year. Gonna try my best!
