2025-06-07 14:49:59 +0000 UTCI don't know why Axel is being so paranoid. No way anyone would want to kill him or Jon Arryn again. After three it just becomes tacky. Also, minor note: “They sat that’s the next King beside him!” Think that should be "say", not "sat".

2025-06-07 11:29:37 +0000 UTCDismising the Hayford's men is a dangerous move. Right now, lord Arryn has a lot less people than Cersei. And she is clearly not happy wtih Axel becominng the king. Besides Lannisters Guards, court is is full of people loyal to Lannisters. And Gold Cloacks are corrupt. The only man Jon Arryn can trust(or so he thinks) is Petyr Baelish, a man with not much power(or so he thinks). Lord Hayford, on the other hand, is future direct vassal to king Axel, therefore can be trusted. Letting his men go before getting reinforcement from the Vale is risky and lord Arryn should know it.
