Love Love Loved this....this album i listen to during so many road trips as a child. Although I was too little to know what was the deeper meanings, but I always felt this records seriousness and spirituality. Even at 8 years old. Thank you JD!

2021-03-12 19:36:09 +0000 UTCPleasantly surprised by your thoughts on D'Angelo given your previous R&B comments lol, I think his 2014 album Black Messiah might be in some ways up your alley as it has a great range of influences, though all of his projects are immaculate imo. Maybe check out a song or two from Black Messiah in your own time (highly recommend the opening track, the groove is unreal, and the closer is a favourite too)
