Tomb of Sand Interior [27x67]

Hey everyone!

This is the long awaited follow up to our popular Tomb of Sand map. We played around with a lot of designs for this one and it took us a while to settle on this one, so we hope you like it!

We imagined this place as a grand mausoleum, similar to something like the Taj Mahal, ornate and solemn. The focus in this tomb is time and sand magic.

The main idea is that the tomb you're in is itself within the grand hourglass within the tomb. Recursively. Throughout the map there are also 6 smaller hourglasses, we imagine each has the ability to turn time back and forwards. You can use these along with the 'no sand' and 'sand flood' variations to allude to different time periods within the tomb.

The smaller hourglasses each can be used as a puzzle: monsters that unpetrify as time moves backwards, the capstan locking you within the tomb, the rooms stabbing you with spikes as the hourglasses are turned and finally in the top middle, the gate to the main tomb opening and closing.

They've made an awesome overworld map combining several of our battlemaps, so you can make a grand campaign of getting to the Tomb of Sands through the trecherous desert and uncover the treasures within.
