Weekly Journal: September 18th (Trinity)

The next generation of gaming is upon us, and as always it opened with a complete clusterfuck. I was able to get a PS5D preordered after an hour of trying on Gamestop, but as a former Gamestop Manager that doesn't fill me with much confidence. What about y'all? Are you going to plunge into the next generation of gaming, keep on PC (don't get me started on how hard it is to find the new Nvidia GPUs), or happily stay away from gaming altogether?

And as always, Patrons get the nude :D

I'm an early adopter, so I've purchased every new system almost immediately over the last 20 years (with the PS3 simply being too expensive early on to get around launch). I also enjoy going back and playing old school games, and it's about time to play A Link to the Past and Super Metroid for the hundredth time :)

As of right now, I'm not interested in the next gen of gaming. As it is, there's still games from this current gen I still have to play, like all those games I mentioned on your previous journal post. I also kind of want a Nintendo Switch to play Pokemon Let's Go Eevee and Super Smash Bros Ultilmate, but I'm not sure I want to buy an expensive system just to play two games. I also still have all those games on Steam I mentioned on your previous journal post too that I want to get back to playing. Some of those games I've already beaten, but others I either started playing and haven't finished or haven't played at all yet. So I definitely still have a lot to play before I get to the next gen of gaming. And I'm more of an old school gamer anyway. So when they announce the next gen of gaming, I'm not really paying attention and am instead playing Sonic the Hedgehog 3 on my Genesis emulator or playing Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on my N64 emulator.

They just announced they're buying Bethesda, so another fantastic reason to spend $500 on a console and get a complete library of games on it for $15 a month.

I think I'll sit out making any big changes to my rigs this year. My dual 2080ti is a beast still and will easily get me through until they release the 4's in a few.

I love pictures where girls have big goofy smiles, but I'm trying to broaden my horizons with these new ones :)

I love my PC, but until I build a dedicated gaming PC for my living room I'm happy to have the consoles there. Gaming at the same desk where I work all day is draining :)

TGTrinity

I don't see any good reason to buy a console, honestly. Every XBox exclusive comes to PC via Game Pass and Sony's warming up to sharing their toys. Demon's Souls is tempting, but not enough to justify an entire console. I'll buy mine second hand when they announce the PS6.

I'm really loving this Trinity incarnation, in this shot and the last red, one-piece with the mesh panels. This (and that) colour just bring out her hair and skin tones beautifully. The red background helps too. She looks much more natural than any other incarnation in my opinion, and I love her physique here. Her eyes are gorgeous and the freckles on her nose really set off all of the other skin tones. Her lips are just pouty enough without seeming unrealistic and this straighter hair style works really well in these shots. Her stance, the little tilt of her head, and her facial expression all convey a, "Seriously, do you really think so?" vibe to me, which I love. It looks like she's pulled her underwear on in a hurry one too many times, though, not that she seems to have any fucks to give about anyone else's opinion.

Glad I bought into the RTX 2k series of Nvidia GPUs, honestly. I get that that makes me look like a chump right now, but I have a GPU I can game on, and I've had it for quite a while. These days locked in that isn't nothing.

This week I'm just hoping I can afford a Series X by the end of the year.
