Release week, new feature body morph targets.

Daily updates from now until release:

This part is one of the main reasons why the new version took so long, I already showed a preview of it over a month ago. In the first version I wanted to only be able to change height dynamically, but now proportional changes of individual body parts are also supported. Currently torso, neck, head, shoulders, arms, hands, hips, legs and feet can be individually changed in their proportions (also breasts obviously). With this base I will be able to develop new characters much more rapidly and easily create variations of the same races, even mixed characters like half goblins will be easily possible with this system (the only thing that could be difficult are races with additional limbs or very different ones, like tails or hooves but I have a few ideas how to handle those within this morph system once the need arises and for creatures like mermaids/nagas or centaurs those would definetly need partially unique setups).

With this system in place I will be able to fill the academy with all kinds of unique looking girls and even an ingame character editor will be possible to create from this base.
One of the neat things with this kind of dynamic system is that these body changes can happen during the game which leads to many interesting possibilities from body morphing potions which will then slowly start to take effect so that you can see how to body transforms to even simpler things like feeding a girl and her gaining weight or doing lots of sport and have her build up muscle (The eating and training stuff is currently on my planned but not yet implemented features list, the animation/morph system does already completly support it, I just have to write the code so that the engine can count calories, measure physical activity and create the muscular girl body morph).

Having it as a seperate mesh is definetely an option, but I want to try to create a transformation that looks as "natural" as possible. Transformations would need to be able to blend between three (maybe four) states anyway with the combinations of penis and balls, vagina only (normal male/female), penis and vagina (essentially the clitoris as a penis) and maybe even a version with penis balls and vagina (even though I do have some spatial concerns with fitting all of that between the legs and having the morph targets for penetration and double penetration). I know why I prefer to just put a strap-on on the girls, so much fewer technical issues.

Maybe just have them there in all the models, but have a shapekey or bone that changes the size to 0. Kind of like gibs on shooters where you'd shoot an arm off. It just shrinks the arm to basically an invisible size. I don't know if it would look all that great shrinking all those vertices in a place like that, but you might be able to have them as a loose part within the mesh. Kind of like what they do for the dicks on some Skyrim mods. The dick and balls are all one mesh, separate from the body. Have some bones for the dick and balls, then just shrink them. It might be a bit different to do in practice though.

True, one reasonable looking transform for something like that would probably be to morph the clitoris into a penis but I will have to do some experiments in order to figure out how to handle it in the best way possible (No idea how to reasonably drop the balls between that morph though).

The idea to use that system for a transition between male and female body may could be a neat way to implement hermaphrodites and similar when... idk... drinking only half the potion? using one wrong ingredient? ... this system really has a lot of applications

It's mostly done through a combination of bone scaling and shape keys. Once I get the female model/animation blender file cleaned up you can take a look at how I'm handling it yourself. The male character isn't yet part of that system but he will be at some point in the future, he is using the same skeleton/armature already but his mesh is different.

Nice job. Been following this for a while, always nice to see how you progress on it. The body morphs are pretty interesting, maybe you could even have some potions that change the PC if he's part of the same system. Like needing to get into a females only class, taking a potion and changing gender. Could be neat. How are you doing the body morphs within blender? Is it shape keys or what? I didn't think doing dynamic things like changing body shape on-the-fly was really possible. Or at least I haven't really figured out how to.
