Every 'edgy' comedian

Lately it feels like their only "joke" is just admitting to punching down and then complaining that people don't like them punching down lol. Are streaming services actually paying people to do these shows???

Is there a snowballs chance in hell I can get you to look at my story titled 'the sheep who cried woke' it's an allegory for the American psyche that was inspired by your political content. Big fan!

Clap....fap... Meh, close enough.

"You can't say anything!" *proceeds to say all the things you "can't say". Gets backlash. Not because there's a law against such shitty things to say, but because the dude was just being a douche. And laws don't protect you from the general public disagreeing with you.* "See?! They came after me because you can't say this shit!" Actually, you can. It's not just all that particularly funny. Once upon a time it made for good shock humor, but no longer.

They only have one joke now because they know their target audience only wants that one joke

I've been watching clips of old comedy shows and it seems like every single one, even the good ones, had some kind of racist or sexist or homophobic bit. (Eddie Murphy was especially bad for homophobic jokes in his 80's stand up). I feel like we should have moved on from this by now and I find it really sad that we haven't and you can get paid stupid amounts of money for this awful hack work.

I think the only white comedian who could approach racism in an honest yet humorous fashion was George Carlin. He wasn't racist, but he sure knew how they function: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQHN1ipLPdY Turns out you *can* be edgy if you're not a jack-hole.

Lol, given his hand position in the final square, I thought those *claps* were jerk off noises at first glance.

I call those the schröddinger douche. He'll say it's a joke or not depending of his public reaction

Jacques McBrearty

They are incapable of creating anything that isn't a thinly veiled attack at people they hate. It's almost sad.

Chris Mingus

Makes sense most of them would go to a place where bigotry is applauded!

It was eye-opening to see how many of these jerks played the Riyadh Comedy Festival. That was a disgusting display of greed.

Must be hard being silenced by people simply choosing not to watch their multi-million dollar netflix program
