One thing that I didn't super drew attention to in the devlog was how this project has been officially renamed "Project Island" now that I got a much more solid vision for how it's gonna go
Well, regardless of that you'll find the download link for the first character creation prototype below.
It's unfortunately really limited for now, since most of the options are disabled except for changing the colors for the body, and exporting/importing the character code, so there isn't really too much to play with right now
Releasing this tiny prototype it's still something I wanted to do though, because I want to get these out as early as possible to detect any errors that might pop up, such as the executable not running on certain pcs, or basic stuff like file loading or mouse controls not behaving properly because of a number of reasons. So if you decide to give it a try, please notify me if any errors like that pop up!
If you want to test character importing/exporting, just note that it will write and read the code from your clipboard, so that's wehre you'll find it/have to have it in to be read. (also please be gentle when importing random text as character codes, I tried to cover any errors that might happen with it but I know it's still fragile)
Another detail is that at the moment the game is being developed for windows os' only, so I can only provide the .exe for it at the moment
