Day 4 of no car. Anger rises.
Added 2022-08-15 21:59:26 +0000 UTCSo I got these quick Jack's. It's like a mini lift. Raises the car up three feet. When you're tubby with huge boobs having a car raised that high is a huge plus. I hate working under cars and I tried to fix it all weekend from up top but whatever. So I figure hey make it easier and raise the car up all at once with those quick Jack's got like 9 months ago. Start time 6am. It took me until 4pm just to finish setting them up getting all the lines secured and sealed and the hydrolic system bled. It's hot. Sweat bees are eating me up but what it's done. I set them up. Raise the car up and it starts slide off. I got them down before it fell. Turns out the pad they poured is like off level just enough to make the car slide off. If I'd have just used jack stands and did it from underneath on Friday this would already be over. Chasing short cuts always ends up in more work and then I have to do it the right way anyway. People ask why I don't modernize well partly I'm worried it's just going to make things worse lol. Anyway... it's beer o clock. I have packages for you all but maybe I'll get the car running and to the post tomorrow
