Bette Machete x Bushkill Park - New Photo
Added 2023-04-08 00:26:36 +0000 UTCHappy Friday! I hope you’ve all had a great week. I’m ready to show you the final Bette Machete photo from our shoot at Bushkill Park last September. More BTS is coming exclusively to Bad Witch Tier members within the next couple of weeks, but for now, I have something for everyone.
Last week, I told Brendan that I felt as though this photo truly captured my personality, to which he responded, “one of them” haha! For me, this photo represents the performance many of us put on to gain acceptance, as well as to bring joy to others. This was especially true to me throughout my childhood. For those of you who don’t know, Bette is inspired by my childhood trauma, and like all of my characters, is very personal to me.
In this photo, you can see I’m standing in a piece that was left from one of Bushkill Park’s most popular rides. No longer available for a spin, this piece remains in the Funhouse behind a small gate, ensuring that it stays intact and no damage is done to it, as well as no one hurting themselves trying to take a spin haha.
We were able to move the gate for our shoot, and I very carefully took several pictures both seated and standing. As you may be able to imagine, cropping this photo for print would result in losing both the top and bottom, which makes it perfect as a full Patreon exclusive.
