####### EPISODE SPOILER REVIEW BELOW! APPARENTLY SOME OF YOU ARE WATCHING FOR THE FIRST TIME ALONG SIDE ME, SO PLEASE DON'T READ BEYOND THIS POINT UNTIL YOU HAVE SEEN THE EPISODE YOURSELF! ######

Ok, hear me out...

I think I really like Weasley. XD  I actually feel a bit sorry for him (even though he is one of the schmucks)!  I was actually suprised he survived the episode, so we will see if he can become more 'part of the group'.

Speaking of 'part of the group', I have no idea how to read Faith in this one!  I feel like this is likely going to lead to some big changes down the line!  Very interesting seeing the parallels between her and Buffy.

Also, RIP, Alan. I TOLD YOU you needed a different job! XD

Oh, also, WHAT a villain of the week! XD

As always, if you click the video just after this post, you may need to  download it first.  This should be fixed in a couple of hours!

Thanks so much! LOVE this episode as well. I think Buffy could relate to Faith more as a slayer and wanted to be more close with her, so she went along with Faith for a bit. We've seen Buffy rebel in the past, so she has it in her, but maybe she didn't know how far Faith could go bad. I'm watching this with my boyfriend, and he thinks he would've liked the episode more if it was a two-parter or if the writers had more time to work with to show Buffy rebel more and more over time. But I personally don't have any issues with it, and like the storyline. Thank you so much. Hope you still enjoy what's to come. :D R.I.P Allen :(

It's difficult to discuss my feelings about Faith without full context from future episodes, so I'll just say I find her incredibly compelling - the writing and Eliza's performance are so full of little nuances that I see more with each rewatch. There's a deep sadness in her, below the surface, and I have a huge amount of empathy for her, even when I don't condone her actions. A good episode, and finally the introduction to my boy Wesley. I agree with you that the way he's treated by the gang upon arrival is just unfair. He's given them no reason to be so antagonistic towards him, and I feel bad for him.
