Here we have the Tricksters Guise, a cloak crafted from the essence of Jynx, the trickster goddess, also known through the intent ‘Curiosity’. The cloak itself once belonged to the goddess who has known to have spent many mortal lives as different beings upon Athana, simply out of curiosity, happily growing, living and ‘dying’ just to see what it would be like. This cloak is the remnant of one of her less successful trips, imbuing the cloak with her divine power and leaving it upon the plane.

In our current campaign the Trickster's Guise has fallen into the hands of Luthien Brown, an interesting figure known as the Avatar, who wields illusion magic with unprecedented mastery. His intentions, shrouded in layers of deceit, have become a thorn in the side of our heroes. As the nemesis of our brave adventurers, Luthien manipulates the fabric of reality, casting mirages that cloud the senses and judgement. Yet, whispers in the wind suggest that the figure they battle may be but a facade. The Trickster's Guise is a chess piece in a game much grander than any could fathom, and Luthien, the master plays his part with a trickster’s grin.

Awakened: As your bond strengthens, the cloak awakens, granting you newfound illusive and trickery powers.

Exalted: In its pinnacle form, Trickster’s Guise bestows upon you the ability to weave chaos, illusions and trickery everywhere you step.

Bonding Ritual: To wield such power, one must complete the bonding ritual, a trial by the cloak and ultimately Jynx herself, does she deem you worthy of her cloak?
