This is a post I did not think I had to make: I would like to remind everyone that the reselling of the STLs whether from Patreon or our stores is not permitted. Trading, swapping, or sharing of the STL files is also not permitted.
If you are approached by anyone that is offering STL files of our models (especially one that is no longer available), please kindly remind them that they do not have permission to do so.
Thank you to the 99.9% of you that support my work and appreciate the effort I put in each month. I am grateful for your understanding in this matter!

First and foremost, I want to say I have never shared nor sold your files. That being said, I have considered it pretty seriously. Not to make a profit, but because while I know YOU can't share the old helms deep files (due to protection), I probably could. And out there is some kid who like me is obsessed with LOTR and would LOVE to print some stuff from his favorite books. Because of that I heavily contemplated throwing them up on thingiverse for a while. The only thing that have stopped me was that you were updating the files so you could sell them on your store again, and at that point I figured I was robbing you of potential sales which didn't sit well with me. I feel comfortable releasing the files for free if they were just going to disappear and no one was ever going to hear/see them again...but I didn't once I realized you had plans re-work/re-sell them. I know the fact that I even considered putting it up for free might make me sound like a bad guy (keep in mind the fact that I didn't), but isn't there someway we could opensource the original helms deep so that people can enjoy them? Maybe a couple months after you release your updated Mountain Keep? I just feel like when art this cool is made, it deserves to be printed. That being said, I just want to re-iterate one more time that I didn't share/release them. I just considered it.
