WIPWednesday - the Yule Cat

Jólakötturinn (or yule cats), are massive creatures that prowl the frozen lands of the world. These monstrous cats are born as ordinary kittens that eventually grow to the size of a house and develop a plethora of glowing eyes… When a child receives a kitten for the Feast of Yul (sometimes referred to as the Feast of Yule, hence, where the cat’s get their name), occasionally, this cat will grow into a horrifying beast that wanders out into the cold. No one is entirely sure why these cats develop differently than their kin, only that these fey creatures seem to spawn during the Feast of Yul, and return to regions they were born at the same time of year, prowling the snowy lands during the holiday season.
This is definitely one creature that you don't want to upset....
