I didn't get too bad but was under the weather for about 3 days. I'm returning to normal today but there were times it was really hard to push though and get the work done.
Thankfully, I had a big head start on a few new additions so you should see no delay on your end!
To continue the good news, I did some testing on a potential EOS editor this week that is looking really promising so far! If everything goes as I hope it does, there could be some exciting changes for Trials of the Succubi and Keystroke going forward! I don't want to promise too much this early but I'll try to share details as they become more concrete.

๐ฉโ๐ซ NEW Tutorial area! Hopefully a much better way to learn the ropes and get a feel for the mechanics! This was a big undertaking due to having to learn a lot of new systems. Imagine me bug testing the exact same 30 or so seconds for hours at a time... (And days of that. No one ever claimed I was efficient๐)

๐บ NEW Werewolf enemy! Our second jumping foe in the game! The art for player transformations is being finalized and should be included by next week. Try not to get bitten in the meantime!

๐ง New art for staff upgrade that lets you fire 2 projectiles at once.
New aphrodisiac projectile art for Alarune to replace the placeholders.

Depths Act 2 and 3 pink crystals now emit aphrodisiac clouds to avoid. (or not)
After having this bug for over a year, wings now flap more correctly in the standing art! (I thought of a solution in the middle of the night)
Alternate Mall Bridal loading screen for Taylor and Liya.
Spooky heart loss error fixed that hopefully won't make it loop anymore. (Thanks to coding help from tulkas11)
When knocked down, player won't go to idle animation when you select weapon.
Female ball sack no longer shows up. (It was a bug, I'm not anywhere near the actual implementation haha... But I have the art...๐)
Next act transition areas more opaque now for visibility. (They are still placeholder)
Green slime and footwear should work again.
There are probably at least a dozen other little QOL changes I forgot to record.

Unfortunately I've been a bit sick this week. While I have been constantly moving forward, it feels like far more of a grind the last two days.
That being said - There is plenty to celebrate for this week's coming Funday Friday!
1. A new Liya Mall Zone encounter! She has two dresses for you to try one but one will end far better for you. If I didn't have a huge head start on this one last week I might not have been able to finish.

2. Fall of Haven Tutorial! It's been planned forever and I'm finally in the position to be arranging all of it. Like any new systems to code, they have a huge learning curve and I hope to get it in a good place for Friday through tenacity.

3. New Werewolf Enemy. I tried to up-res the sprite myself but found it a far better use of my time to commission it out to an actual artist and pay them for extra animations.

4. New Trials of the Succubi Christmas scene! I plan to have an extension to one of the previous Autumn scenes up and running for this Friday.

I hit the ground running this week after the Thanksgiving holidays with family. I tackled some pretty massive bugs in that time. This cut down on creation but makes everything feel just that much cleaner.
I also started the next Keystroke Liya scene that will be ready for you all next Funday Friday!

๐น NEW Alarune Enemy! Get in touch with nature - literally! This temptress of the forest will utilize a few different tricks in her bud to drain you. NSFW animation is WIP and waiting on more art. The pollen art and effect is also WIP. Creation of a new artist that I already have started on the next few assets!
Holy weapon cooldown increased by 0.2 sec. (a nerf for all the holy weapon lovers...)
Possession works again.
Venom pickup effect increased.
Spire defensive electricity added to Depths Act 1 and Act 4.

Haven soldier statues actually fire in Act 3 now and several added. Also adjusted solid collision.
Blindfold works again. (way harder than I expected to get running. Took 3 entire re-codes)
Hurt arm doesn't fly out of handcuffs anymore.
Flippable tables added to dungeon.
Dungeon bridge now works.

Today is a US holiday and as such it cut my working week short by two days. Sadly I wasn't able to manage more Trials of the Succubi content but it will come next week!
As a time of Thanksgiving, I want to tell you all how grateful I am that you all are sticking with me even when times are busy (Family, my inefficiency, travels, etc.) and I don't create as much as you deserve!
Thank you all so very much from the bottom of my heart!
I'm still in the thick of things fixing all my mistakes and creating something that could be considered organization at a glance in Fall of Haven. These ongoing efforts will pay off one day with a better quality of life and faster addition of new content!
Someone in the discord reminded me that I hadn't made a certain Keystroke cosplay fighter yet so I set out to make it. I forgot how long Cosplay Convention encounters take me buuut... I got it done!

Asking girls to strip now increases their preferences slightly. Made with coding help from oneiromantica based off of a suggestion from percival774.

NEW Harpy Enemy! Our first Air/Ground enemy makes an appearance.
Overhauled enemy air/ground conditions to allow them to be toggled.
Increased hurt vulnerability duration by 50% to make the game easier.
Wing bondage split into 2 parts - chest and wings.
Several objects do are no longer created at start to hopefully make loading faster. I'm only doing about half at a time because the new system takes a while and I don't want to crash everything with bugs.
Overhauled ALL damage taking code to hopefully require less processing and make further additions faster.
Back dashing can no longer go over no fly zones (like ceilings).
Mandrakes added to several more acts.
More collision improvements. (Perhaps a road that will never end.)
Orc corrupter melee attacks when close now.
Several act start player appearances cleaned up.
Ongoing sound adding and clean up.
Orc mages now damaged by Earth weapons.
Earth weapon doesn't make orc shadows disappear anymore.
Blue Wildling death animation doesn't jump anymore.
I forgot to make holy weapon level ups match how much they costed so they shouldn't show up early anymore or drive you negative.
Earth shards have a slightly tighter spawn radius.
Electric weapons have tighter turn radii now to allow for hits more often.
Sword and staff drop instead of go invisible with high level bondage.
Wings shouldn't come out of bondage when you are hurt anymore.
Bondage traps added to Depths and Cemetery acts.

With my awful scope creep I would prefer defying gravity because I do a bad job fighting complexity.
Though I lost the weekend to the convention and got back exhausted, I think I was able to hit a great pace the rest of this week.
This is the second week I'm ranting about collisions but they took so much rework. Look forward to a post about the majority of what was involved and why it took so long.
The next Keystroke encounter was supposed to be a short and straightforward event, I got lost down the rabbit hole of trying a few new things. I hope you enjoy the variety!

๐ฟ NEW Mandrake enemies! These little guys lie in hiding until you approach for an ambush. The first jumping enemy!

๐งฟ Big collision overhaul continues! This should cause the player to not walk on unwalkable things with the new system.
โ Player now cannot be hurt within 1 second of being hurt from most threats. This should make the game a fair bit easier against groups.
Player falling into pits will not cause you to walk around aimlessly and lock the game. (issue with new collision maps)
Crystal orc body remains after death.
Player won't moonwalk when depths platforms lowering.
Skele and warrior slimes now damaged by earth weapon.
Slime on player art shows up again.
Enemies and treasure chests drop upgrades faster now.
Sounds added to candle lighting in Cemetery Act 2.
Scene transitions cleaned up.
Fixed a few songs playing over each other.
Water auras and sounds should not infinitely spawn anymore when walking on water.
Water weapon now starts with 2 projectiles. I thought I did this months ago but perhaps it didn't save.
Water weapon cooldown decreased by about 30%.
Water weapon will not correctly fire faster in last Terra Act, Haven Act 2 and 3 when on water.
All holy weapon levels 1 shard more expensive. The holy weapon was being upgraded faster than anything else because I don't have enough things to spend the shards on yet.
Removed some actions you can do while paused.
Orc mage ground spikes slowed by 20%.
Orc mages bodies remain after death.

What a busy week this as been! As mentioned, I'm spending half of this week at a convention which severely limited the amount of time I could pour in.
I picked a bad time to overhaul the collision code and maps for Fall of Haven because it has taken far longer than expected. I've had the help of a few Construct veterans to make this possible. However, the bugs alone will take me weeks to clear up and I'm on it!

As a reminder Milovana saves only allow for 1024 bits. Fapnip created a wonderful system to compress saves to allow for so much more to be stored but we even ran out of that! This caused the 4.0 release to have lots of bugs.
oneiromantica was so kind to work on this for about a month to bring us a fixed save feature! This should hopefully clear up:
Nearly all of the issues on scenes repeating!
Autosaves not working!
Player's saved photos displaying correctly!
Scene and ending tracker working more accurately!
Saves in general working again!

Reworked entire collision system. This was the goal to make the 45 degree angle perspective a bit more realistic, make paths more walkable, and allow me to make the environment feel more interactive.
I didn't design any of the game with this in mind. To not make my previous version have floating objects I added a lot more impassible terrain workarounds. Going back and re-doing a year's worth of creation has been bug filled and extensive. There is new code to re-order everything on the layer depending on the player's position every frame. More work to be done but I'm excited!

Art added for dropped sword and staff when arms are all tied up.
Dungeon finish gate exit now doesn't show up before required levers switched.
Plant Golems cant be flown over anymore (will make it much harder to hit with sword now).
Skele (the little guys) damage reduced. They will also not attack you so quickly back to back.
Slight damage reduced for skeleton mage bolts.

I've also been hard at work redoing every... single... collision... in Fall of Haven to allow for better player perspective and make paths more walkable.
The issue is that not only has this taken a ton of time, but I've needed the help of at least 3 construct experts to figure out the kinks and we're still going.
It's likely that I tried to do too many wish list items at once but hopefully I can pull through without irritating everyone helping.
I had family unexpectedly visit the last 2 days and the convention is starting now. I'll see what I can knock out when I'm able!

This week had a family celebration, elections, AND school was out for all of the kids on Tuesday. Despite that, I still wanted to push through and deliver!
We have yet another large benefactor buying a commission outright! Thank you all for supporting me so much and making these creations possible!

โ๏ธ NEW Second Level Handcuffs! I'm proud to finally have these implemented because for at least 6 months now the artists and I couldn't find a way to pull these off with the layers. After lots of creativity, chopping, and re-arranging - they work! (outside of bugs ๐)
Standing portrait layers redone to add functionality for new bondage.
Standing portraits also compressed to allow for smaller disk size and memory storage (hopefully faster loading!).
I guess I never actually activated nipple clamp bondage, they are there now.
Dungeon gates start locked and cannot be flown over.
Added Lever functionality
North levers unlock random gate.
South levers unlock gates to next act.
One lever operates platform.
(Door levers still to come)
Dungeon wall collisions adjusted and should block line of sight.
Fixed bug causing handcuffs to not show up.
A few more bondage mines added.

I must greatly apologize for not having my Halloween event as planned but I delayed it today as to not have super buggy or partial releases.

Patreon Changes
As of November 1st, Patreon has made several changes but I believe this to be the most important one of note: Pledge prices are greatly increasing for IOS store users.
I had two choices to make but in order to highlight that 30% of your donation would be thrown to Apple unnecessarily: I have elected option 1.

Will ONLY effect:
New IOS subscriptions. Please find a different way to pledge (desktop or anything non-IOS store) for the sake of everyone involved! (except Apple)
Week Update:
This was super productive week even though I was continuously behind. I keep telling myself that if I can only get caught up and complete everything at least day before release that my stress level would be greatly improved but I'm not there yet.
Though it was tough AF and late in many ways, my pride is fairly high on what I accomplished in a week. School is out Tuesday but I'm looking forward to next week for many reasons.
The release of Keystroke 3.0 is nearing!

โ๏ธ NEW Dungeon! My most complicated act yet, it has taken me the most time so far and I still have more planned. Sadly the doors, levers, moving platforms, and cell walls are not working as intended yet and I need some coding help after bashing my head against the wall for hours.
Buuutt... There are tons of brand new effects (most of which won't even be listed) that ARE working that I'm super proud of!

๐ NEW Skeleton Warrior! The strongest skeletons yet! They are protected against your sword as long as they are armed with their shield. Their attacks deal more damage than any of the other undead so far!

Skeleton Warriors replace Skeletons in Depths act 4.
โ๏ธ NEW Skeleton Mage! Our second shielded foe is here. Kill them quick before they revive fallen skele allies! (Just the little guys... FOR NOW)

๐ช NEW Log, Spike, Bondage, and Blade Traps! New obstacles await! Will you be nimble enough to avoid them?

Wolf Girl HP reduced by 15%.
Wolf Girl swipe damage reduced.
Holy level 3 weapon added another layer to sound more impactful.
Several damage types from recent additions actually damage player again. (I forgot that I turned it into a global variable)
Male member doesn't stick out of holy armor anymore.
Added more level selects to start for those wanting a spooky selection without beating prior levels.

No traveling this week so it's nice to "catch up" a bit. Next Thursday is Halloween so I wanted to celebrate it a bit with this Funday Friday!
It took me a long time to add the next even number but we now have:
130 endings in Trials of the Succubi! ๐งฎ
Sadly I'm still fighting Milovana space bugs that are causing many scenes to repeat on loop, making some autosaves not work, and leaving out some variables. Until the Milovana servers change I can't make it much bigger but I can keep adding scenes to the previewer that will be ready if and when the servers change!
On the Keystroke side of life we have a fairly sizable new encounter with lots of nooks and crannies!
Fall of Haven is back in the game with some new additions but more importantly: Lots of QOL and bugfixes! While the number of bugs have been and continue to be daunting, I'm getting a bit more efficient at clearing them out. Enjoy the new Cemetery Act to celebrate the Fearful Funday Friday!
It was a busy week but good to get back in action for you all!

๐บ NEW Wolf Girl Enemy! Fast doggies who prowl the world and don't mind using those paws. Her bites currently do a lot of damage but will eventually start a player transformation when I commission the art. No NSFW content for her yet. (Need to find another artist)

โฐ๏ธ Cemetery Polishing/Revamp! Light your way to find the way to the next act - literally! Activate candles and lanterns to open a portal to the next stage. The ritual will envelop the world in darkness so make sure the way is clear!
Running out of flight stamina no longer messes up pathfinding and should be far smoother now.
Snake death sounds.
You can now fall into the abyss above the castle in Cemetery Act 2.
Falling into pits now works instead of simply disappearing on every stage that isn't the Depths.

Qunari (horned girl) doesn't teleport to the side when flashing bottoms anymore.
Treasure chests in orc camp don't open when they are unspawned anymore.

Increased number of holy shards needed for each Holy weapon level.
Orc shadows shouldn't all vanish anymore.
Reduced number of required kills to pass orc camp.
Being poisoned won't crash audio or happen all at once anymore.
Electric level 2 attacks actually do damage now.
All electric global attacks actually do damage again. (must have deleted it by accident)
Holy boots now removes shackles as intended.
Holy armor button size reduced.
Many enemy ratios and positions changed for most Tera acts.

I'm back this week from my trip! With Halloween being next Thursday, this week's Funday Friday needs to be the spooky one!
I'm a bit behind schedule but I'm hoping to have a full gamut of Spooky things to enjoy starting with Keystroke's new witch in Spooky Town! I can guarantee this one because I've already started bug testing and expect to finish that today. Her complexity is around a Cosplay Convention encounter with lots of secrets to find.
I'm getting closer on finishing the Fall of Haven Cemetery zone act 2 polishing along with a new enemy! I was originally hoping to also knock out a dungeon act for extra spookyness but I am WAY behind on that end.
For Trials of the Succubi, I'm hoping to have another ending put together with our first Megan/Caprice crossover! If I can pull off the photo edits and dialog in time, this should be her next Lesbian content on top of the previous really short addition.

I recently realized that we have had well over an entire year of uninterrupted Funday Fridays!
In fact, this is the 68th Funday Friday in the books!
That's 68 F words I've had to match haha!
To the uninitiated - Funday Friday is a celebration of every new bit on content and changelog of the week's work. You would think I've learned my lesson from making large complicated boss encounters but I haven't yet - The bug testing alone for the new Keystroke Mall zone has taken me over 8 hours that I didn't plan for. This is above and beyond the time it took to edit the over 180 pictures, and create all the content. While the other mall boss may be a bit "larger", this one has even more twists and variations that are possible.
I am back making more content for Trials of the Succubi with Mrs. Capone's return! I still need to wait for server changes to add it to the playable tease but I'll be ready when that happens!
This week also has a brand new act joining us in Fall of Haven!

Hello everyone!
As mentioned in the past, Trials of the Succubi was approaching the very last limit that I had no workaround for.
Through lots of coding help from oneiromantica (again!), it was determined that we have already passed our Milovana limit, especially with the variables being saved. This seems to be causing many of the bugs that I couldn't wrap my head around in the last 2 months or so. For example, the Nikki foot event happening over and over. It turns out that this bug was even preventing a few of the new scenes from even showing up!
I have once again followed up with the Milovana admin to see how far away we would be from potential changes but I am thinking their option 3 would be quite perfect for us: Size Limitation Discussion.
I can still make scenes to be previewed and still plan to. However, they cannot be worked into the full playable tease until we find some other solutions. There are a few other workarounds being brainstormed but there are risks and would take up much of my time. For now, I will wait for the Admin's response before making actual code changes to the variables and save feature.
In other news: I will be traveling this Friday and will likely not return until the following Saturday or so. I will not have any way to work on content but will still be able to respond to you all. I'll still plan out releasing some of the Gold content to the lower tiers but that week will probably not have new content.
The mall should see its second boss this Funday Friday along with some other surprises. Once again I think the delays are temporary and am quite optimistic about the future. I remain committed to getting you as much stuff as I can push out for all 3 projects!

In what should have been a return to form content week (how many times do I expect those haha?) sadly I had an unexpectedly busy weekend. I was also a bit sick this week along with one of the children. However, I worked as much as I could and actually put in some major time!
Sadly not much of that work was in new content. A huge portion of my effort was in finding and crushing bugs across all 3 games. However, the Fall of Haven ones were most brutal to figure out.
I had a few artists finish a few deliveries I was waiting on and some others started Tuesday.

It turns out that sound tags are the only case sensitive item so far - I would have never known until I looked into why some sounds weren't playing...
๐ฆด NEW Skeleton Slime Enemy! These little fellows aren't to bright or too strong but a lucky swing might cause you be covered in their goop. Such things might be a bit... detrimental to your clothing.

โ New Male Main Character sprites! After months of waiting I finally have enough from the artist to have it all up and running! (As a reminder, the old male sprites were placeholder until I had something to match my vision)
๐๏ธ New Flight animations for the main characters and new mechanics to go along with them! Sadly this caused tons of bugs but I've hopefully cleared them up.

While slowly putting in changes to make it more obvious the places you've been and the places you haven't. I've decided to undo all of my work for disappearing dead bodies. Now your slain foes will litter the battlefield!
Clothing damage, weapon selection, health, enemy status effects should now stay with you when crossing into another act. Yet another huge cause of bugs but hopefully I took care of them.
Depths Act 1 falling into pits should not happen as much anymore when not flying.
Player swing doesn't keep looping now. (I forgot to revert it after testing something)
Screenshake added to wing flapping and landing.
Holy armor button should not stop moving even when off. (When you scroll to the right side of the screen)
Wildling attacks should damage both genders more readily now. Previously there was a way to one shot the female.
Skeleton re-animation takes longer now.
Several electric weapons damage enemies again now.
Female losing her armored boots should not longer also lose her foot.
Swamp moose stops flight again.
You will no longer lose tons of clothing randomly if you have over 7 hearts. (bugfix)
Increased zombie non-poison damage.

Timer added to several TOTS zone encounters. Somehow these were removed in an oversight.
In yet another TOTS zone oversight - Caprice bosses now track whether or not you failed the prompt. This unlocks a good half of dialog that was locked away and I never noticed...

I felt so bad last week that I couldn't finish the most requested Trials of the Succubi addition yet. After returning from my trip, I set out to knock it out ASAP to have it to you in a special release.
I should have known it would be no simple task with all the variables and paths that have to be considered. (I will still have more to do when integrating it into the full tease) Well, it took me far longer than I expected to complete but it is up and running now! I'm still working with two pixel artists but output is slower than I need it to be. I have again started a search for a third pixel artist. This is always quite time consuming to plow through all the scams, bots, and underqualified and I still haven't added one to the roster.
As announced in this Wednesday's post, I had to cut this work week short. This was also a big hindrance to my expected output.
Though I've started the HEAVILY REQUESTED expansion of Caprice's NTR gym experience, I wasn't able to get it out this week. Expect it in it's fully glory by next Friday!
Milovana also hasn't updated the EOS code yet for TOTS to shine but hopefully it will happen within the next month.

Part of the reason I have less output this week is I was pouring TONS of time into Keystrokes first Mall Boss which is now FINISHED!
Clocking in at around 250 photos with plenty of branching paths and surprises, I hope you find the result worth all of my scope creep!
I was also able to send out my new round of feedback on the next 71 sounds of Fall of Haven! This took the majority of my weekend but I was pretty productive with it.
While I'm losing this weekend and won't be able to get a heard start on things, I have a laundry list of things ready to be made for the following Funday Friday!

In a recent plan change I will be leaving town Thursday afternoon and won't return until Monday. This will unexpectedly delay a few things I was working on but I'm still pushing hard to keep the Funday Friday as fun as ever!
The first expectation is to have the first Mall boss out to all of you this week. She was already over 200 pictures large and scope creep is making things take forever. Come find the sneak peak in the Discord!
There is a chance I can finish the expansion of a massively requested scene in Trials of the Succubi by this Friday. (Heck, someone even asked about it again today!) However, I won't know until down to the wire tomorrow if I can get it in time.

Considering all of the cancelations that happen often, the real value is closer to 1.7K. Higher numbers in general bode well for the future! I hope to take this momentum and run with it while being able to stabilize in content creation. Great things are on the way and the future is bright!

I would only expect something like this to happen within a month or two. If it happens, it should be gamechanging for me. Currently Trials of the Succubi is at it's absolute limits and after 2 years of finding workarounds, I'm out of options. It also would make creating, editing, and bugfixing WAY faster for me!

To those who haven't heard - Milovana has been offline since Monday. This isn't the first time it's happened, it probably won't be the last, there is a tiny possibility it won't come back. Read here for more details! TLDR: I'm optimistic.
So while I can't actively create for Trials of the Succubi and Keystroke, I made sure to make sure you can still experience them in their full glory without Milovana!
As a reminder, I am not technically savvy. All of the offline tools were made by a super generous coder. They wanted to ensure that creations could be archived safely in the unfortunate possibility that Milovana doesn't come back.

Guess what game is completely immune to the issues of Milovana? Yep!
The vast majority of my week was spent implementing new sound effects and providing feedback on how nearly all of them can be improved (I have around 100 already).
One sound in particular created a crazy bug that took me forever to fix. (No one wants to hear the player land 60 times a second until things crash)
My extended family is visiting now and for the next 5 days or so, so that also will slow me down in the short term.

Ice cube now spawns while dashing instead of on a timer. Spawn animation speed up again. This hopefully should make it much easier to use on demand and more likely to be facing enemy upon push.
Ice cube damage reduced. (I had previously increased it so much because it was so hard to hit)
Kinetic bombs hurt enemies again.
Fixed spire beam starting from the spire after I shortened it a few weeks ago.
Stop icon should no longer go super sonic orbiting around player.
Gag collision map redone for better removal.
Endless pit collision added to Depths act 1 area.

Hopefully this does' t become a re-occurring weekly segment haha...
The core issue this week - Milovana is Down. ๐
This isn't the first time it's happened, it probably won't be the last time it will happen.
The admin is known for being pretty silent on a lot of matters and no one to my knowledge has any insight of how long this will take.
It has taken between 1 day to about a month historically to come back. So far we are crossing past the first 24 hours of this outage.
What does it mean for me?
I can't edit Trials of the Succubi and Keystroke nor add any content. Unfortunately no one will be able to access the online links either.
I will see if I can get an updated offline version even with the outage but it will not be as stable as a complete release. If you are just jonesing to play, I have some previous offline downloads that go back several months.
I am currently putting more of my efforts into image editing and Fall of Haven work.
Does this change anything?
As long as it eventually comes back, my plans are not really affected. I already knew to not put all my eggs in the Milovana basket even though I have held on longer than most other creators.
What I'm optimistic about is usually when there is an outage, the admin is more receptive to requests in the following days. That means there is a small possibility they could make larger teases editable which would be an absolute gamechanger for Trials of the Succubi! They mentioned being open to it in the past but I imagine it would be lots of work.
Not only would that potentially greatly increase the efficiency of the time I put towards it (right now I edit it in 3 separate parts, merge them, and hope it does not error on re-upload. It is erroring more and more by the week), but it could allow for me to actually add stuff! If this does not change, we may be almost at the limits of what Trials of the Succubi can take.
Other news:
Monday was a national holiday and I was not able to accomplish as much as a normal workday.
Previously I had announced that extended family were visiting this weekend but now it turns out they are arriving a day earlier. This means the time I can put into efficient work this week is down yet another day. Much rests on me getting as much as I can knocked out today and Wednesday!
The following week will also be a bit "hampered" regarding workflow but I'm committed to press on regardless!

There were hints in the discord but the time for the reveal is here! Keystroke is getting yet another new zone and the first 2 girls release NOW!
With Trials of the Succubi's next offline version looming, there is a lot moving into Early Access to get tested. I look forward to squishing the remaining bugs and hearing what you think!
Much of the last two weeks has been spent organizing every sound effect I need to commission and giving feedback for the first drafts that have arrived. I decided to leave in many of these new drafts in Fall of Haven so players can finally hear something other than music. (I learned so many new programming things this week too like stereo sound!) Plus plenty of additional QOL to enjoy!
Monday is a national holiday AND Friday has extended family all visiting so I don't expect to get as much done. I certainly will be pushing out as much as I can though! My consistency is paramount - hopefully that comes through by now.

๐ฆ NEW Bat enemy. Faster, lower HP, and different AI than the Cave bat they should provide some variety. Added to 3 different acts so far.

โ ๏ธ NEW Venom Level 4 Weapon! Your dash move now causes a venom bomb to spawn where you were for major damage over time!

โ ๏ธ NEW Venom Level 5 Weapon! Double the number of venom orbs to spray enemies with damage over time and burst them down!

๏ธ๐ Darkness Weapon remade! Though I still have many things to improve for it, it is much more usable now despite still being chaotic. Fire slow moving projectiles at enemies that often miss. However you can then pick them up to carry and unleash them next time you use your sword.
Hitting enemy 3 times with darkness causes them to be aroused and chase the player.

๐ Around 63 sounds added! Many of these are first draft and will be heavily changed AND compared to the overall soundscape this is only like 10% of what I need but it's a big start!
My personal favorites are the girl yelling and holy weapon sound effects so far.
Music, sound, and sound effect toggles all added to customize what you might want to mute. (these were a lot harder to make than expected...)

๐ด New "Get Up" art and animations to finally replace the old placeholders. Should make it far more obvious what the player needs to do, what they have done, and how it progresses things. One of my favorite QOL changes ever and one I've been waiting for months to finish!

Boss HP increased.
Several of boss effects changed visually and to fix some edge conditions.
Snake, Goblin, Slimegirl, Orc Spearman, Orc Mage, Cave Orc, Crystal Orc, Plant Golem, Electric Traps, Skeleton, Zombie, and Boss interactions added to holy shield.
Skeleton respawn should work better.
Holy underwear should stop holy censorship from appearing all the time now.
It should prevent leveling up holy weapon to go negative holy shards after gaining holy underwear now.
Fixed a bug where dashing and then pausing makes your character fly off the screen never to return.

But more importantly, the countdown is complete - The Keystroke Temple Zone has now come to Early Access!

This week had to give much of the new Fall of Haven content a break in favor of a lot more behind the scenes work. I hired a sound effects artist and work has started. I have also finally approved a new male main character sprite design!

๐ NEW Level 4 Life Weapon! Now deals bonus damage according to how much health you have! The synergy is that the weapon itself creates health drops and the vines can pick them up for you!
Venom weapon now slows down when near an enemy to make targeting easier.
1 water projectile added to all Water weapon levels.
Ice cube weapon now has larger collision box and damage increased 20%.
Moose blowjobs are back on the menu. They should also not make them invisible anymore.
Orc spearmen should get stuck on things far less now.
Slimelings shouldn't drop holy shards anymore. I forgot to fix that exploit until now.
Depths act 3 should now properly link to act 4.
Possibly fixed a bug where multiple stops can appear.
Swamp moose shouldn't hit multiple times from one projectile.

After loosing last weekend to travel, I hit the ground running.
Though I could spend at least 3 dedicated weeks fixing things, I spent much of this one knocking out as many quality of life improvements as I could. ๐ Fall of Haven should be far more intuitive now! While I felt like I only fixed 30% of it's issues, that's pretty massive for me to knock out in a single week. While there is still a LONG road to go, it's not a bad time to jump in and try it yourself!
๐ Not everything was reworks - I hope you were all hungry for another Keystroke Temple encounter!
While I started the next TOTS scene, I was unable to finish it this week. Due to size constraints, I'm still quite concerned that I may have already passed the point that the content I make won't be able to be added to the playable tease. Regardless, you should expect the new ending and much more next week!

๐จ NEW Dash Mechanic! Completely replaces "melee mode" and now will fly backwards at the press of right click. Will now be used to also activate special abilities from some elemental weapons.
๐ NEW Stop Mechanic! You can now click the player to stop in your tracks and then click anywhere to start walking, flying, or dashing to your heart's content!
๐ก๏ธ New Holy Armored Underwear! If you have excess holy shards burning a hole in your wallet why not spend them on some spiffy armored undergarments? They will keep you covered and chaste no matter what my come your way. (For now...)

โ๏ธ NEW Melee Weapon Slot! Disables one ranged weapon to double sword recharge time. With "melee mode" replaced by the dash I wanted another way for the player to more effectively fight in close quarters for their chosen build. This new weapon slot also allows the player to avoid shooting enemies that thrive from ranged aggression. Furthermore, it allows me to create elemental melee weapons eventually! (I have most of the art already)
๐ NEW Sword ready animation! Makes it a bit more obvious if you are ready to start swinging and making more holy shards! Somewhat placeholder even though I'm happy with the way it turned out on male side.
๐ป Ghost Possession effects added! Still more to come but now it has an additional level, status bar, and minor NSFW impacts from having it really high.

Ghost now drains life when possession full.
Player now has hurt and arousal image states again while fully possessed. (I had them layered wrong)
Due to a several month oversight, I just now realized that the girl's sword wasn't sheathed. I have had that sheath art since near the beginning and forgot to use it. It's here now! (old shadow is also removed)
Water/cliffs/other obstacles no longer block line of sight. I had original plans for them to but things were never working as intended. Should make an easier user experience now.
Depth act 4 boss code overhauled to not get stuck and be far more fair/interesting.
Boss special effects added.
Boss should spawn every time now. (sorry...)
New get-up placeholder animation to make what the player needs to do be more obvious.
More statues and types added to Depths Act 4.
Depths act 4 monster lineup slightly adjusted.
Cave orcs now actually hurt you with their attack now.
More tesla coils added to all Depths levels.
Missing endless pit code added to some Depths act 4 areas.
Fixed gear activations from randomly appearing in places.
Venom weapon now should limit itself to a single spawn at once and deactivate when weapon is switched.
More shrines spawn in Terra Act 1.
Terra Act 3 leaves falling added.
Additional explosions for Kinetic weapon and even more after level 4!
Kinetic Orbital strike/Heaven's wrath now activated by dashing instead of timer.
Kinetic different effects hitbox timing cleaned up.
Electric weapon now fires the direction the player is facing. Such a little change that needed more experience to figure out.
Made new graphical layer for underwear. This won't really affect you other than the knowledge this took a long time to re-order everything and could create visual bugs.
Electric levels over 1 now displayed correctly.
Orc spearman movement hopefully will not allow it to walk off of cliffs anymore.
Some death animations should lay on floor better.
Enemies shouldn't hit player during their hurt animation.
Shortened spire beam length by 30% so hopefully it won't hit you from a mile away.

The good news is that I was able to pour much more time into the projects this week. The "bad" news is that I'll be traveling Friday and all weekend. I needed to pull a few late nights to make Funday Friday as good as I know it should be!
Making a Boss in a week is difficult. Making a level in a week is hard.
This week you get TWO bosses, a level, and MORE!
Hopefully I can keep this output going through the rest of summer!

Tackling a new map in a week is pretty hard. Doing one of the largest ones with new mechanics and a new boss gave me a few late nights!
๐ NEW First Boss! I don't want to spoiler it with a picture but it has a few surprises in store!
๐ต NEW purchased Depths music track! To make it sound like an even more epic Act 4 showdown! CastleVania inspired but with a harp twist. Boss music still to come!
Cave bats now spawn from the shadows. It makes them more hidden but gives you a bit more warning when they appear.
Screen shake added to orc mage.
Earth weapon now affects orc mage.
Crystal orcs don't hit you for half your life for their lust affect anymore.
Dark raising animation now goes away over time if stuck on map.
A few collision maps re-done but far more to come.
