I love this lil' sequence. I wonder if I can talk "Nonni" into helping me make more?

He'll turn down a busty, eager filly to teach her a lesson about presumptuousness, or something like that? Sure, I believe that.

The new president seems to think the mainstream media is a bunch of lickspittles who will follow orders from the persons in power. Where did she get a cynical idea like that?

And that wraps up that little ditty. Y'know, I really should do more of these.

"Those lazy, hazy crazy days of summm-err..." The story from the dark, probably mythical pre-computer days continues.

And now, just to keep my punters entertained while I get a running start on the Yule Monsters story, a little ditty I illustrated thirty years or so ago. Yes children, there was a time....Before The Internet! It's hard to imagine now, but I assure you, it existed.

More of Picca's self-sufficiency (a good thing, in general), this time in living color!

What choice did she have, after that "your little head" line? Dumbass.

That black mourning band on her sleeve is not for show: Kinney was the best friend and mentor of this little nerd girl. SOMEONE is going to the gallows for his death. Thank you for volunteering, general Harkins!

Scotman and Icelad in Road Trip! part 69.

And that wraps up Scotman & Icelad's (and their crew) Supercon adventure. Next up, I figure I'll run a week's worth of an old story, to give myself time to draw up a new adventure. But which one? I'd like to finally ink up "Last Ship Out". I got a layout for "First Kill", Savage Squirrel's very first venture into vigilantism, ready to go. And I really wanna start in on the Junkyard Dogs.....but they're an all-ages story, and I dunno how well they'd fit on a Patreon with funny-animal porno...

I found myself touched by the idea of two giant war-bots trying to figure out love.

"Yeah, touched in the head, har har!" I can hear you say. Maybe so, but it seems to be working for me.

Sketchbook Madness 1990-2020!

So I just got back from Texas Furry Fiesta. Bit of a story I'm saving for my mass-letter. But I was not able to make more Scotman and Icelad while I was ...conventioning? Conning? Doin' the Con?.....So upon my return, I went looking for Fred Perry's cool Icelad sketch, just to have something to toss up here.

Couldn't find it, but I found Don Fields' dramatic battle between Savage Squirrel and Icelad. And Scott Malcomson's anthro versions of S&I. And Fred Perr...

The "Free Agent" is yet another tale I haven't had the time and energy to tell. Like I said at some point, "If there were three of me, and none of us needed to sleep, I could get maybe half the stuff I want to do done".

....And then again, if the other two Karnos were generating ideas at the same pace the original was, we'd be right back in the same old soup within days.

Yeah, because YOU guys didn't go along with it all those times, right? It's all the fault of the guy who finally got you caught.

I was inking the second page of this story over 20-year old pencils this morning. On the good paper I haven't had for about the same 20 years. Gave me a strange feeling. Not exactly nostalgia, but....a connection through time?

"Hi there, 35 year old me! It's 55 year old you, here. Boy howdy, you have no idea what's in store for you!"

Firmly deciding who you are and what you stand for may seem limiting to some. But it is also clarifying. Reacher knows what he is about - and why.

Scotman's sword is not magic, but it's as sharp and durable as modern science and metallurgy can make it. Which actually puts it a couple of points ahead of some of the lesser magical blades. A serious chopper.

That said, aside from a couple of gags for the return trip, this is about all I had written for the SuperCon story. So if there's a specific character or line of shenanigans you'd like to see before we wrap up this tall tale, now's the time to speak up.

Scotman and Icelad may be a pair of light-hearted goofs, but it need not follow that the people they deal with are.

You folks did catch the "Fighting crime thru petty theft and harassment" part of Scotman and Icelad's slogan, right?

Oh yeah, and Doc Lenny is still back at the con hotel, servicing superheroines' equipment. And boy, are some of those girls equipped!

"The back of my hand to ye!"

Reacher has a strong aversion to ungentlemanly behavior towards women. Violence is supposed to be man-to-man exclusively, in his opinion. Of course, in such contests, he usually has a weight and height advantage.

Addendum: The manly and tone-deaf art of bagpipe fighting.

As for the rest, I believe the "dark and gritty" superhero comic writers may have gotten hold of the wrong end of the stick: If I had super-powers, I'd be using them for laughs all the time. How is being able to fly under your own power (or that of a giant pet bug) not FUN?

For the curious, Scotman and Icelad climbed onto the Skybox balloon while it was on the ground, loading the paying passengers. What, you've never snuck into a ball game?

The feminist elite are of two minds about Dangerous Curves (shown above) and other superheroines. On the one hand, they're powerful women making their own way in a man's world - that's good, right? On the other, they're so damn strong, they don't have to kowtow to anybody, including aforementioned femi...
