Shot a new video today!

Hot shit! Filmed a new trivia battle today. Rich vs Jay - with me, Mike, as the host. You'll never be able to guess the topic! Editing this now. Also preparing for a special guest visit soon, as well as working on displaying some new props from Propstore! LOTS of new material coming to you soon!

Hey everyone! We started a second channel to post clips and highlights from our many, many years of making terrible internet videos. We'll try to update this regularly. Enjoy!

Currently editing a top secret project...

Just a quick update. I'm currently editing a new video. This is a top secret project so I did my best to censor what it is and who might be involved. I can't say exactly when this project might be completed but it'll be "soon". I know soon is relative, like soon can be a minute or in geological terms soon can mean 100,000 years. Let's just say it's somewhere between those two measures of time.

Snip Snap Snip Snap...

Thanks to the fan that sent us this! Hot damn! This is a prop recreation of the famous large scissors from The Exorcist 3. The nurse possessed by legion attempts to cut the daughters head off with them. I assume they are based on some kind of real medical bone cutting tool? So the person that sent these apparently consulted with the actual prop master from the movie. So they're not actually sharp, but this thing weighs probably 10 pounds? Maybe more. They are HEAVY and cool. So thanks! There ...

Upcoming HITB

Hey everyone! We're currently working on a new Half in the Bag. We were inspired by the fact that there are currently three brand new independent films available on various streaming services that all came out right around the same time and all star working actor Kyle Gallner. So we did the Kyle Gallner Triple Feature Spectacular!! It's a little random but hey, you gotta go where inspiration takes you.

Storage

Like pretty much everyone that's worked with video as long as we have, we've built up a huge amount of footage over the years. In the first image, you can see some of our earliest external hard drives which are bulky and weird shaped. They have to be close to 20 years old at this point!

For the majority of the time we've been doing Half in the Bag and beyond, we've stored all our raw footage and edits on these Western Digital drives and when one fills up, we just move on to a new ...

BOTW Sneak Peek

A new Best of the Worst should be done in the next couple of days but in the meantime, here's an amazing screenshot from one of the movies we watched! Can YOU make out what's happening? It is definitely the worst VHS transfer we've ever seen in terms of how dark the image was. We had to boost the exposure for the edit.

The second image is a couple of movies that are mention and recommended in our discussion in comparison to the movie we actually watched. No idea if that will help with g...

So many shoots

We just shot four videos in three days. We were tired and hungover for pretty much all of them. Huzzah! Two Best of the Worsts, a re:View for Robocop 2 and a re:View for Little Shop of Horrors (the 80s musical version). Hot damn! These will be spread out and not the next four releases in a row but still, we got a lot done.

Dang!

Everyone is buried next to Beverly Crusher's Nana! Wonder what all the other headstones say. HOT DAMN!

Also, hot take... I re-watched Sub Rosa (considered the worst TNG episode) and it wasn't that bad. I had a warm TOS feeling while watching it. Many TOS episodes were crafted around sets they had access to. Spooky haunted houses, wild west whatevers, 1930's streets, nazi costumes, gangster costumes, yadda yadda. This episode feels like Paramount had a vintage house and a graveyard...

So many Tubis

It may not seem like much when you watch the final edit, but we had to digitize and scan through almost 100 of these damn Tubi movies to find good clips for the Watchbait video. The majority of the movies are just long scenes of people talking endlessly about nonsense in living rooms. Gotta pad that run time!

Upcoming Videos (July 2023)

And we're back! Sorry, we were off doing mundane behind the scenes work for a bit there, but we have a video we're working on now that required quite a bit of research and preparation. It's another "reading a list of things to Rich" video but a little bit different this time and it actually relates to movies. The video isn't ABOUT the movie Shark Exorcist, but Shark Exorcist is brought up in the discussion. That will be coming next!

Then we're planning on seeing Oppenheimer and also doi...

Cannibal Corpse!

I was looking for a good in/out edit point for a clip from a Cannibal Corpse song and this was the .wav. I chuckled. I suppose there's a momentary lull in the action there at about 30 seconds. After watching some Death/Black metal music videos and clips. Man, these are some hard workin' dudes. Especially the drummers.

New Re:View coming soon...

Shot today and in the editing phase... Rich and Mike talked for 90 minutes about a film from 1984. Can YOU guess what it is? If you can't, don't worry it'll be out soon!!!
