Case 131: Mr Stinky

Case 129: The Dupont de Ligonnès Family

The six-member Dupont de Ligonnès family lived at 55 Robert-Schuman Boulevard, a narrow two-story residence in a wealthy residential area west of the city. Their home was part of a row of matching terraced buildings overlooking a busy thoroughfare, interspersed with patisseries, bars, and other businesses.

Case 127: Killer Petey

Pedro Rodrigues Filho, or Pedrinho as he came to be called, was born on June 17 1954. He had a misshapen skull due to a deliberate kick his mother, Manuela, had received to her pregnant belly from her husband, Pedro Rodrigues Senior. Given the level of violence their father inflicted upon their mother, Pedrinho and his seven younger siblings were lucky to be born at all.

Case 124:  Hinterkaifeck

The small rural property of Hinterkaifeck lay approximately 70 kilometres north of the German city of Munich. Set against Bavaria’s flat, sweeping farmlands, meadows, and pine forests, the acreage earned its unofficial name from a nearby hamlet called Kaifeck, with ‘hinter’ being German for ‘behind’.
